We were the type of family that I worked as much overtime as I could and my wife raised the children and made the meals. I became disabled a few years ago and my wife works now but while I do a lot of the housework now she still cooks.
I’ve been learning, trying recipes here and there but for some reason a lot of them don’t turn out as expected.
I know that people protect their recipes tightly and I suspect many recipes are missing “secret” ingredients and/or processes.
Anyway, I just got done making this recipe and tasting the results.
I may never become the cook of the household but I have a feeling that when she gets home tonight and tries this with coffee after dinner that I might at least become the desert maker.
Thank you for sharing this recipe with me.
    It’s delicious.

I've made about 10 banana cakes now, some dense at the bottom, some too dry the next day, some lack of taste. This recipe of yours is God sent, it achieve all the criteria i need, moist, flavorful and good shelf life! Its the third day now since I baked it, it somehow just taste better and better! Huge thanks to you.

This is my second time using your recipe after that fabulous marble cake recipe. I used less sugar (30 g of brown sugar and 80 g of white sugar), and it didn't affect the texture of the cake at all. It rose as it should, and the crust on top of it was heaven. Definitely recommended.

My cake turned out really good. Soft and full of flavor. I followed your recipe accordingly. I had bigger moulding and the baking was done right at 40 minutes. Thank you so much for sharing this nice recipe.

I made it today and I am eating it rn ❤ the recipe is super delicious , I used oil instead of butter and added a little batter with cocoa powder and made swirls , now if anyone tries this technique on round cakes like me ,it will not work but it will work with rectangular moulds but yeah , give it a try 🎉

I followed your recipe. I like how everything is mixed in one bowl rather than use so many more vessels, starting with the wet ingredients and gradually adding the dry ingredients. Only one thing I added of my own was crushed nuts, which enhanced the pleasure of eating the cake even more. Thanks for the video.

Best recipe I’ve came across after trying many others
The only thing I used less sugar than what’s recommended in this recipe
