Why is it so hard to get your own official tubing 16/13 into these fittings? To get it to stick into the base and pass the oring is impossible. I deburred the tube and still no luck...
EDIT: I found a solution. First you deburr like normal (maybe deburr some extra material off on the outside if it's still hard to insert.), then i lubed the o-ring on the inside of the fitting with vaseline, a very thin layer (like you can almost not see it being applied.) and it became MUCH easier put in the tube.

Love this simple fittings explanation video! Especially how Alphacool designs products with modders in mind keeping things interchangeable and modular 😍💕

using AlphaCool 16/13mm acrylic tubing I cannot get it to seat into the fitting at all. I added a chamfer to the tubing end using the alphacool toolkit and still won't get past the inner oring no matter how hard I push!!

Also have this issue, not sure what do do. Deburred and still can't get it to fit in the base.

My solution was to lightly coat the chamfered end with plumbing 100% silicone grease (can get at any hardware store) and that did the trick. Have to be real light on application to avoid contamination of the fluid.
Alternatively you could try using some water-based “personal lubricant” sold at pharmacies. Just avoid any lubricant that is aquaphobic (e.g. petroleum-based lubricants) to prevent clogs in the blocks or pump.

The fittings cant hold my black chrome brass tube in at all lmao, im at 5 psi and it just slides right out of the fitting in about 30 seconds.
