Bro fr, I was 13 or so watching these "old videos" (2-3 year old videos), now I'm 20 sitting in my car that ive pulled the engine out of, listening to this on the sound system that I installed, while kinda tipsy in the taco bell parking lot. A true star "what is even happening", like when the classic sniper jumps into the pit of upward on his ride turner video.
i always rewatch these videos, they are so fun and chill
@@imthemistermaster Same here, I used to watch these videos as a pre-teen, happy, just enjoying life. Now I'm a 22 year old adult, who doesn't know what he wants in life lol. Star_ isn't only just nostalgic, he's also a reminder of when video games were just played to be messed around in like this.

It's tf2's endless combinations of classes, strategies, and loadouts that keeps me coming back. Couple that with a wonderful community (something CoD is sorely lacking) and you have one of the best multiplayer shooters of all time.

Here is a story on how I got a huntsman taunt kill.
I was on hightower one day, and I happened to unlock the huntsman. I then changed servers and I joined a game on 2fort. When I got out of spawn, a soldier and a medic were attacking. So I tried to kill them but I failed miserably. So I ran towards the door that leads to the spiral ramp thing that leads to the intel room. When I got there, I taunted, and the soldier that tried to kill me jump in front of me, and I got the kill and the acheivement. I also unlocked the jarate on that same round.

Patrick Gardner Rescue ranger doesn't arc, but if you call any projectile-firing weapon, than yes, they are similar. Otherwise I don't really see a parallel between them.

Before the rescue ranger was invented? You mean implemented into the game. It was invented before star made the video, but not released since it still needed to be balanced.

The Huntsman,
is one of the best weapons to destroy sentries.
One fully charged Sniper Shot (if it isn't the Hitman's) will bring a Sentry down to half health,
so naturally The Huntsman is a very good choice of Sentry destroying weapons.
If there's no Engi fixing the Sentry, then two arrows can easily destroy it.

one of my funniest huntsman stabs was on 2fort and I didn't even kill the person. I stood near the doorway and went for the taunt, scout jumps through, gets stunned but is out of kill range then a spy walks in and backstabs him.

The patch that included the Rescue Ranger was released December 20th 2012, this video was uploaded September 19th 2012, and also the Rescue Ranger doesn't shoot arrows, it shoots a 'bolt'.

I feel so stupid nowadays when I think of my first few months in TF2, you getting Dalokah's chocolate is a reminder of that. That's because I had about 3 of them and deleted all of them, along with a buffalo steak and 2 sandvich's because I thought these things were all useless back then.
