I was just a boy when I sat down to watch some shit on TV; I was maybe 14, saw this video, this charming man in tight brown suit dancing among yellow flowers blosoming, and it changed my point of view, my perspective, way, life... Everything. One of those moments that last for life, but only for few minutes, which makes life turning into a single beautiful moment. Thank you for that.
Completely agree. It wasn't the video but the music on its own. This album made a change in me long ago, I've changed since then, but I hold that era with a special regard that I was fully present once. That I understood, I got it, for a little while. Maybe I'll get it again. Sure hope so.

I vaguely remember seeing this video at either Nordstrom’s in the Westchester Mall or at a friend’s house when I was on a play date and MTV was on, when I was 5 years old. 5 year old me definitely had very different music tastes compared to the rest of my peers. This would have been right up my alley.
To me, this song is just brilliant. I don’t know so much about Nick Cave yet, but to be able to make such a song he must be a composers and musical savant.
