    Do you have a video for the open Builds 1010 lead machine?

    Did you do a tram on the spindle after installing it?

    Just bought a tramming tool from you. It's perfect. The sticker is now on the side of my controller. Thanks for a great tool. If I upgrade the 300w spindle I may go to you.

    I am about to purchase a Sienci Longmill MK2 and looking to use one of the 65mm Spindles. Is there any video or documentation on that?

      Installation on any CNC machine will likely be super easy. Most machines accept the PWM/GND signal for control which is perfect. Our vfd can be modified to support 0-5v or 0-10v which is the most common voltage ranges or anything inbetween. All you'll need to do is identify those two pins on your Longmill controller and you're golden. Plug in our control wire and you'll be set to go for automatic g-code control of the spindle motor.

    Whats the difference between your 110 volt and 220 volt spindles? is 220 something i really need?

    I noticed that you added the 65mm spindle to you onefinity machine... It is my understanding that there is an issue with spindle/z-axis motor clearance when putting a 65mm spindle on onefinity.... have you figured out a way to overcome that problem?

      Lower the mount, drop spindle into place and hold (don't tighten), raise the mount all the way... then lift the spindle till it bumps into the Z motor mount. Tighten it down right htere.
      This should be just above the bottom of the Z carriage.

    What touch screen computer/device are you using? Currently I have to carry my Mac laptop out to the machine and connect with USB. I have an iPad also, but I don't think there is a version of Carbide Motion that runs on an iPad. Thanks.

      That is an external 20" touchscreen monitor hooked up to the Onefinity BlackBox controller. It's based off from the BuildBotics controller which has an embedded Raspberry Pi installed in kiosk mode to show the web browser and the cnc controllers software.
      I've used a similar setup with a Raspberry Pi running CNCjs in order to have a similar setup. ( seen here: th-cam.com/video/4Oz-uGNUzBw/w-d-xo.html )
      Unfortunately no, CM doesn't run on an IPad, however finding a low-cost windows surface might work out well. CM doesn't require a lot of power to run, especially if all you're doing is CM. This would give you a very small dedicated PC for your Shapeoko.

    Is this a rebranded chinese spindle? First time I'm hearing this delixi branded vfd.

      Yes. However backed by an American small business and built to our specs.

      Deciding between air and water cooled. Is the air cooled pone to collect dust in the cooling tubes? Just a quick shot of air to keep,it clean I would imagine

    in your opinion water cooled or air cooled

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If i were carving a lot of metals, i'd consider water-cooled, otherwise i'd save the trouble and go air-cooled with one of our "Body Extenders" a 3d printed piece that extends the main body of the spindle so it works efficiently with spindle mounted boots like our v7.

    I want to upgrade to the spindle simply for the sound alone. Still speaking in a normal volume with it spinning 2k rpm 🤣

      The noise difference was a huge game-changer for my household. Before i had to stop carving at 8pm when my young boys went to bed... now i'm carving well after midnight and no one is disturbed.

    I use the avidcnc control , can you hookup to it

    • @PwnCNC
      @PwnCNC  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup, absolutely. I'm doing final verification on my own Avid Pro machine this week and we'll have Avid properly listed in the controller list soon.
