  • Like any project, there is always some unexpected hurdle to get over. Fortunately, this repair shouldn't be too difficult. I will post the actual repair video as soon as I get the parts.

    That's why I've learned never just throw a junkyard engine or transmission into my old classic car. It's just a matter of time before a leak or something goes wrong.

      Brian Samuels fortunately it was just $20 worth of parts to refresh the entire tail shaft housing. Truthfully, from what I have read in forums and discussion boards, this still happens to guys with freshly rebuilt transmissions as it is commonly overlooked. The transmission has performed flawlessly otherwise.

      @@TaylorSmithAutomotiveChannel I feel you. My th400 has been leaking for years. It's the original one from 1968. I recently bought a new one, I just need to make time to install it. Trust me, I know what you mean. 😄👍
