Our last camp site after 6 weeks in KRUGER at BERG EN DAL - Lost in Kruger Episode 9

  • We have a lot of fun this episode, moving from Crocodile Bridge to Berg en Dal, setting up our last camp site of the trip (and probably our favourite), extending the trip by another week to take it to 7 weeks in total, and going in search of Wild Dogs! Same thing we do every day Pinky!
    The incredible Kruger National Park, never fails to deliver!
    I hope you all enjoy, we're now in the closing stretch of this series, with 3/4 video's left, probably 2 specials and 2 full episodes! But the good news, and the reason this episode took longer than usual, is because we are heading to Mozambique tomorrow, and that means a whole new series, Lost in Mozambique. Think scuba, sand driving, adventure, remote wilderness, fishing, kayaking, beach camping!
    As always thank you to everyone for the continued support, we are setting up a Patreon if you want to help us cover some of our costs, and keep us on the road, details coming soon!

    Brilliant as usual, thanks very much. What is the long lens you are using on your camera? It looks like a Tamron or Sigma 150-600mm.

    • @LostinAfrica
      @LostinAfrica  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Craig, thanks man appreciate it! It’s a sigma 60-600, we’re doing a gear video soon! Chose it for versatility (and budget) over absolute quality, but have still been really impressed! Dying to get some proper long L series glass on this R5, but that’ll have to wait till I have an income again! ☺️

      @craigwatt8698 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks @@LostinAfrica . Recently purchased the Sigma 150-600mm second hand, and even that stretched the budget for me, which is why I asked. Looking forward to your gear video, will keep an eye on notifications..

    • @LostinAfrica
      @LostinAfrica  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had the 150-600 on my Nikon Z6, and thought it was brilliant, often grabbing it over the 500mm f4, so many happy snaps!

    So love the videos and sequences, but hate the music and volume. It so does not fit the subject - just MHO

    • @LostinAfrica
      @LostinAfrica  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Getting the volume right is a constant process and has been one of the biggest learning curves! I cringe watching these old ones, but the only way ive learnt is by working on improving each and every video! Hopefully you gave some of the newer ones a go, and i am still constantly trying to improve!

    Not funny to anticipate or desire to see an animal killed...roman coliseum atitude

    • @LostinAfrica
      @LostinAfrica  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Couldnt disagree more, sorry. Its nothing like the coliseum, these animals have to feed to survive, it’s the natural environment at its harshest and most beautiful. And considered by most to be the pinnacle of sightings on safari.
