I made a promise to myself that I would play this song after making my last student loan payment. After years of frugal living and $44,490.94 later, I played your song so loud that it busted a speaker in my car. In hindsight, was it worth the blown speaker? You damn right lol! Next goal is to play your “No car note” track on full blast once I’m done with the payments (blown speaker and all).

Just finished paying my last Navient (formerly Sallie Mae loan) school loan!!! It only took 14 years, LOL!!! I want to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for His provision. I also want to thank my amazing husband for his hard work and provision as well. Together, we were able to accomplish this goal!

Finished paying off my student loans today. We are part of a generation that has learned very hard lessons early in life that will shape the way we view money, our education, and income for the rest of our lives. Having student loan debt was the most emotionally and psychologically draining time in my life and I am swearing myself off of any kind of debt for the rest of my life. For those that don't get enough scholarship money they should knock out their electives at an accredited community college and work part time. When you transfer to a university all credits above a certain level transfer, but not the grades. As long as you're accepted to the university your GPA at the community college doesn't matter. If you get a 4.0 at the University after your 1st semester you are now a 4.0 student.

+Charles D This is a great plan, tho a difficult one to accomplish, I started this, then had a 10 year gap before going back - luckily some of those credits still transferred, but I wish I had gone all in full time from the start - for my story - I always feel i'm behind in my industry compared to my younger peers, but I never EVER regret for one single second going back to school, getting MY degree, and yeah i owe AES about $65k, but i can afford to pay it back and live and work doing what i want to do :)
