I wouldn't have minded it if X had some kind of edge over Zero. Zero is just too versatile.
I feel if X could do his current special moves in the air or at least have more newer special moves variation inputs in the air, he'd be even better than he is now, maybe even as good as Zero in his own way. But right now Zero as simple as his moveset is, he can overwhelm his opponent in battle of spacing is too much for his character.
Yeah X really sucks compared to Zero atm. Seriously does capcom know how to balanece these games?

Filipino Champ just had more previous free time with the game than almost everyone. You will see a lot of new players in the top 8, whole different new game. Kotobuki memes Dante complaints have some validity though, as he's easily the strongest character for setting people up. Not exactly mahvel 3 Doom tier for team synergy, but definitely up there.
Zero is just mash H. Mash H into a full combo. Character is stupid. Literally ZERO weaknesses. He was stupid in Umvc3 and Capcom doesn't have the common sense to nerf him. He had his time to shine and he was oppressive. Why not give X the lime light now? He's just so mindless. Mash H till you get something. Yes this is salt. IDC. The last thing we need AGAIN is Zero dominating like the last game. Give me a break Capcom.
MrFr1day Look at dormammu though....lol did you see that beginning combo with that trap mix up just now? Zero requires patience and you can not rush with him. If you're patient you are heavily rewarded just like all characters. His weakness is basically taking time to execute his combos correctly and lots of practice other than that you're right I do not see any weaknesses.

Dormammu is boring af but has insane damage and control, it feels good to see pro players using him but still getting beating. I'm a flashy type of guy and I like Nico's playstyle, non-stop barrage with fast attacks.

Why do players spam Space Stone during Dante's Wild Dance?

Using a stone is supposed to increase the infinity gauge, but it doesn't look like it does much for the Space stone.
+Yosogoto It looks like he does it during super so that the opponent stays in place and he can use his lightning mixup. He did it successfully midscreen on Ultron

Champ is 0 and 4 against this dude BTW. After seeing that 2nd game I'm thinking Zero with install super might be this games Morrigan. Sure you can just block since chip damage is weak in this game but this dude only needs 1 bar to lame out any storm but reality and from full screen too, think about it.
Plus, Zero with Sougenmu can make Reality Stone orbs his bitch, which is pretty nice. Reality Storm might be a problem for him, though.
