My 2 cameras are configured into VideoO, when I turn my Iphone on mobile only, the camera wont connect into VideoO. I turn back the wifi on my mobile the camera connect. I went into the VideoO settings and under Wifi settings and it shows my wifi. So if I go away from my house, the Camera do not connect into Video0. It's like the camera connect to my phone only, I don't understand.
I'm so frustrated! For some apparent reason, I can't connect this thing, ugh 😩. Don't think I haven't tried, let's say this has been going on for several months.
I'd be careful I have one this whole wifi thing seems sketchy as it's unsecured they can easily get inside of your phone or spy via network I'm just going to get something like ring that's on my own secured WiFi not some random network

I can connect the camera but it only works when I am at home using same WiFi with the camera. But it doesn’t work when the phone uses different WiFi.

Fixed camera connection problem in android 10 by switching mobile data off. Had set wifi preferences to "do not auto connect" but it struggled to hold onto the camera WiFi until mobile data was off.

FYI, Not all versions of this device has IR night vision. Just took mine apart and it had no IR LEDs at all and the ad on eBay stated it did. This is this issue with Foreign sellers or drop shipping. Well for $16 not to surprised.

What do I put for UID? I put my wifi (router name) in "MyspectrumWifi78-2G" but it won't let me put the - part in and keeps telling me I need 20 characters long of a UID? I'm lost!! Please help lol
When you connect your phone with the camera Access point. the UID will be detected automatically

I'm trying to connect it to both my phone for remote viewing when away from home and also to the WiFi at home. When I select "been hooked up to the router" it says enter UID, password And then camera name. Everything is prefilled out except the UID? How do I make the camera viewable to my phone so when I search for nearby devices, it will show up? My phones bluetooth is searching but not finding the camera?

Hello. I did everything but my camera doesnt show in wifi available devices. I am operating android system
First it does not support 5G 2G only. Start with cam off then with one short click using on/off button turn on you will see blue light flashing at this point you should see "ACCQ????????" listed in available WIFI access points. Follow rest of your instructions from there. Hope this helped. Also, you may have to do a reset (press and hold mode button for 6s while can is ON).

What is the blue wafer used for?
The little blue metallic piece is to stick to something else to connect the magnet to on the back of the camera in place of using the little plastic adjustable arm. Which means it's stationary instead of movable/adjustable for the angle/view. I hope that this helps answer your question 🙂
