Sorry for the delayed response. Oh, gosh! Its been almost one year and I have not seen any live lice in my daughter's hair for some time now. The tricky thing with locs is that nits could get into the locs and be hard to reach. I routinely check her hair and spray it with the gin solution about once a month. I spray mine, too. I have not seen any lice (dead or alive) since last summer...and I check constantly. If you are just starting, I would treat for at least a month (on non-dreaded hair) and at least 3 months (for dreaded hair). Just to be sure you've covered their life cycle and have gotten as much as you can.

Hi- I just came across your videos! Did you have to take out Nits from the base of her locs or the entire Loc?
