If you put this way geothermal has more produtivity than solar and wind they can run 24/7 365 days
And it has more used those excess heat they produce can used in household and the land it can occupy is lesser than solar and wind farm

Bakit pag pinag uusapan ang koryente hindi nababangit ang ganitong uri ng power plant kundi napag uusapan laging ang Bataan nuclear power plant na madumi at hindi masagot ng maayos kunsaan itatapon ang gamit na nuclear spent rods. Na nakakalason dahil sa radioactive.

because of the Corporatist Monopoly enabled by Cory and Ramos.
It is very operational. It depends upon the generation of your electric supply. Not all parts of the Philippines are powered by geothermal power plants. Some are coal-powered, hydropower, diesel, etc. The generation cost most likely affect power cost. In the past years, here in Leyte, we experienced at least 9 pesos per kWH, as we received power from the Tongonan geothermal power plant. As of today, we get our power source from coal-fired power plant and has increased power costs. Electric companies do bidding in certain years as to which generation company they can get supply with). Unfortunately, during the bidding, Tongonan geothermal power plant was not won.
