He had just lost his undisputed championship to Baldimir but because Baldimir didn't pay sanctioning fees for the IBF title, the IBF title wasn't on line and Zab although he lost regained the IBF title. Zab had all the boxing ability in the world but lacked discipline and that's what cost his career and him being an all-time great. And again, in the Mayweather fight, Zab showed his lack of discipline and fouled Mayweather causing a melee in the ring.
