Another great video with a bunch of great tips for us builders who appreciate craftsmanship and attention to detail! I'm constantly striving to learn tips and tricks from the best in the business and really appreciate you putting out these videos cause I learn a TON.
@@Yourfriendwasmagnificent yes Scott put a new motor in it and the injection pumped up the shit so he put one of them on it. I think we’re back in business lol and yes, that finished turned out awesome the weld is stainless wire so it made it contrast.
Cool to meet the people who support your team and business. Ain't it the truth the way stuff is made these days. It's interesting to see how you maintain the race car. You definitely got it down to a science.
@@kevinp2820 I don’t know about science lol I didn’t pass that subject in school does make a mess maintaining these things having it strung out across my shop. I can’t sleep at night knowing there’s shit laying everywhere.
Cp4 failure on that duramax I am betting. You had better have them convert it to a cp3 for you. Shannon been watching you rock crawl since 2001 uroc days, big fan of your work.
Where do you get your tool black from? All I can find is the small quantity Birchwood stuff from Walmart. And then everything else is sooooo expensive.
@@onmywayout you should be able to just get on Amazon and look up tool black it comes in a clear gallon or a quart that’s kind of tall and it looks like Windex. I can’t remember how much it cost. I’ve had a bunch for a long time but it might be expensive.

Good video and appreciate how you show support to those supporting you.
@@patrickobrien5424 thank you very much. Yes, I have a lot of people that support me wouldn’t be who I am today without them.
@@shannoncampbell_unleashed understandable there for sure. Always have to “support those that support the sport” :)
Man that finish looks awesome.
I love how it makes the welds stand out on the diff housing.
I hope you got the Duramax sorted out👍

I just found out it was the high pressure fuel pump that did in fact fail, miss those uroc days, times were a lot simpler.
Can’t wait to see you shred at KOH coming up
@@mobster7459 I’m pretty excited myself. I’ve never had issues with anything in this year was the worst. I will be prepared this year.
👍👍👍
How long does the tool black finish last? I imagine if you keep up on oiling it it lasts.
@@ultra4suzukisamurai679 yes it’ll last quite a while but every time you Scotch-Brite it, it naturally gets lighter

Antiseize works as a laping compound. Youd be better off with a oil on them threads shannon.
