All those soldiers in the footage. How many of them wanted to fight and how many of them got to return home to their loved ones. War gets started by one person but it's the thousands of ordinary men that had to follow the orders that die for the warmongers.

So this is really interesting to see for me. You never really see the German cavalry, or footage about them, but as much as people like to think the Wehrmacht as a force focused on Panzers, Opel Blitz trucks, and sd.kfzs, the truth was, much of the German army ran on horses.
And ate those horses when things turned for the worse.
