There’s something noble in a flower that only grows in harshest mountain conditions, and the potential Gebirgsjäger man has to climb and pick his own unofficially to become a true Gebirgsjäger. Maybe a myth from the late 30s-40s that passed down but as a 30 year old Brit this one of my favourite marches.

i mean it wasnt a myth since it was practised and still is to this day , although its made a secret since the flower is highly protected since tis gotten to be so rare
