- If you close your eyes and just listen, this could sound like a number of different things. An avalanche, a helicopter taking off, a truck barreling through your living room, maybe a machine gun? But all it is is a washing machine that's off-balance and probably overloaded.
Didn’t know washing machines had anxiety
Get to the choppa!!!
More like a helicopter. That’s a Maytag with a whirlpool chassis underneath
Is it really? Would have never known that - wonder if that’s why
@@KevinTichenor yep, whirlpool bought Maytag in 2006
When I had a top load washer it sounded like a helicopter during the spin
Yeah those things are crazy loud!
@@KevinTichenor my top load washer that I was an Eaton Viking 8 Series Model 100% Top Load Washer and it has a lint pan just like the GE Filter Flo washers
tub pad worn out or stuck autoajust rear leg
That’s bad for the springs atleast it wasn’t smashing against the frame but when it does that you have to open it
The only company that makes residental washing machines in the US that uses springs for their suspension is speed queen. These use suspension rods, which are known to bang around much more
It's a maytag. . . and that ain't even a little bit out'a balance- hell mine dances half way outa the laundry room. (maytag=shit)
What model is that Maytag washer
Couldn’t tell you, not sure
It’s a Maytag Direct Drive by Whirlpool. Just a rebadged whirlpool. The most well known and iconic washer design ever made but in my mind not as good as the classic original Maytag brand from the 70s 80s 90s…
It was an earlier maytag centennial not sure of the model number
next time open it I want to see it when you open it
