Thanks for this. I'm having more trouble than I would have expected wrapping my head around this game, so none of my brews have won a single game on Pixelborn. Thank goodness I got that working instead of spending money on any real cards. But taking this for a spin won me a best of three immediately. I should be able to enjoy running this deck going forward while finding my feet in the meta and mechanics. And it even has my favorite girl, Alice. Which is why I clicked on the thumbnail. Which is why I am now getting into Lorcana in the first place. So thanks.
Another banger of a deck. Love your approach to building. I'm still learning the decks and interactions. I find the emphasis on mulligans and learning the nuances in this game is particularly interesting; considering there's not a sideboard or sidedeck kind of game.
Yeah it's strange to think about playing Best-Of-3 but not being able to change up anything. At least with the vast majority of cards being inkable - you can main-deck some crazier side-board options and just ink them if they're not relevant to your matchup. The only problem is if you top-deck one of these cards in the late game... it's kind of a dead draw...
I just traded for three Alice’s todays at League and this was exactly the deck I was looking to make! Love seeing the commons and uncommons in here getting some love.
Do you have any thoughts about some upgrades/investments in the deck? I’m starting to build your list but I’m wondering about cards like shift Aurora or shift Cogsworth as protection. Maybe even something like Sisu?
I was so focused on 4-strength characters that I never considered those other options. But I saw someone with a more expensive list that supposedly was doing well that has things like Hades and pawpsicle/hiram package that looked like a less aggressive but more stable build able hang on the game longer. @@LorcanaUniversity I unfortunately cannot or will not let myself afford Hades at the moment, gotta be semi-responsible with the wallet lol. I like your list anyways as it’s more focused on the gameplan and uses non meta/niche cards. I may swap in Sisu for Gaston/Robin for some hopefully repeatable scrying and drawing and see how that goes. I’m not convinced Aurora and Cogs would be all that useful anyways, it may be even more set up on top of already needing to do set up for Alice turns.
Great video! The deck looks super fun. I love combo builds like this. I'm getting an error when I click on the decklist? Not sure if that's a problem on my end or not.
It looks like Dreamborn might have exceeded their API call limit - I think they did something to query prices and might have angered TCGPlayer :D It seems to be working now!
It would definitely help the deck battle through the late game. I generally don’t include Hiram or item/song centric packages without 10+ of the fuel pieces (items). Since I don’t have many items, I ended up trying this list without Hiram.
Was at locals today discussing locations and said support will become a bigger payoff with set three to get characters to one shot locations, was thinking this color combo may be the way once Inklands is released
Good point, have the flexibility to pivot to knocking out a bigger defenseless location at any time, ask the whole stop generating lore, seems like a good option if locations become popular!
You can always give Alice’s strength to another character and challenge a big opposing character. This makes things like Gramma Tala, Panic, and Duke Weselton something to do of you don’t need them to help reach your strength targets!
@@LorcanaUniversity I must be missing it - how do you pass on Alice's strength? She doesn't have support and her card says she gives support to 'other characters'

Why no pawpsicle/hiram engine? I would imagine the deck needs the draw

Peter Pumping Alice...add cogsworth and or aurora.
what about green beast? would he support for each time he quests?
Question about using the strength 'at the end of the chain' - do you need two Alice's in play to do that?

@@jmsandfordYes, you’re right! She will only be supporting if you have Scepter of Arendelle or another Alice in play.
