Wow, this is AMAZING! Auditioning for captain next year, I loved the flag work and especially the dancing. The moves were really fitting, and you're a great dancer!

there was a winterguard show this year and their show was called "the fall of hitler" and it was all about hitler and stuff and they had flags with nazi signs on them. it was pretty scary, lol.
i hate to admit this to someone whos bigheaded and who thinks everyone else sucks, but that was pretty good. not much equipment or transistions but the dancing blew me away.
it was really good and ur really graceful :) it wasn't perfect but nothing is every perfect haha, the one thing i didn't like though is how like most of it was dance, i know dancing is a part of color guard but you could maybe added more flag work, but other than that it was really nice and i love ur flag lol
I LOVE your silk. Purple is my favorite color(and one my of school colors). I'm new at winter guard this year. I'm also a dancer(9 years) and I would just like to give a little advise. Pointed feet, energy through your fingers, turned out legs. In my guard, if we don't, they call us out and make us do it in front of the whole guard. Flag work was pretty. at 1:23, I thought you were gonna do a 45. It would have been nice there. Still cool though. :)

Watch your feet when you do jumps or leaps. Toes aren't extended all the way. And remember flag is more than just tosses. You had a really good behind the back catch. Keep practicing.
im in color guard and you did a good job, but just tip for the future if your hair gets meesed up or your clothes get scrunched don't fix them. last year when we were in dance camp our coach kept yelling at the freshman to stay set till we were told to shake. he said that it ruined the inage of the dance.
I agree with xladym cuz in guard, it's important to take advantage of the flag instead of your body. Honestly, I would have love to see more of you with the flag because your good, just forgot the flag as it was nicely put. And I'm in guard too, so yah.
I think that their should be a little more flag work or the song should be extended so you could do more with the flag. Otherwise, very well done. You have a large amount of talent with coming up with moves to fit the song.

You are an excellent preformer. What you do is you surrender yourself in your preformance. Not many people posses that trait right away. Congrats, that means you're a natural :) One word of advice though: a problem with surrendering yourself in a preformance is that you're not toally aware of what certain body parts are doing. I would watch your hands during your dance sections. Most dancers keep their wrist straight, instead of going for the evil scarecrow look (for example). Hope this helps.
good job! The only thing i have to say is at the beginning, make sure your left leg is straight when you do the kick, otherwise good job and keep it up!
BringJessTheHorizon you don't have to wish it's not expensive to get a flag. pick the right music the best way to learn to dance is just move to the music. let it flow with in you.

overall it was a very nice performance, but you might wanna watch your feet, they flexed on a couple of your chauces and when you picked up the flag the strength in your arms decreased, make sure to keep an even strength throughout the performance but it still had a wonderful tone, and good tosses, but the opening one was a little high. ^^
it was actually a good solo. but i think you shoulve added ALOT more flag technique...you danced through the whole thing. although i think you should be a dancer =) youre very graceful . have you ever considered it??? x)

...it's a guard solo... why was half of it dance?! it was beautiful dancing, but that would have never flown with my guard/competitions. I don't know why guards put so much emphasis on dancing... we're not the drill team. it should be about the flags!
your dance is basic and repetitive, you allow yourself to make minute errors (lack of point, limp wrists, no turn out, etc.) that bring the mediocre performance down that much more. certain sections of your flag piece were worth noting, the toss with the catch behind the back takes some skill is one example. most of the work was beginner work, at best. i would take some time and concentrate more on your flag skills. less dance, more flag, less repetition.

there was a set time limit for our solos, but thanks! I'm glad you enjoy the musicality of it all.

You did a really great job. The only thing I would say is, watch how you spin. Don't spin on your heels okay! Great job over all!

good stufff..just make sure that just because u have a flag u dont stop using ur body...use ur body as you do flag work
