    This is FANTASTIC !
Do I see Javelin Turns here ?
Being competent in this drill will support better execution of dynamic parallel turns, along with a variety of timing and rhythm changes needed in regards to various terrain and conditions.
Thanks so much for sharing 👋👍

I thought a "power plow" was a derogatory term for a undesirable braking plow with braced legs on both inside edges with whole body steering?
I do love this drill, though i would probably call it a wide stance gliding wedge transitioning into javelin turns.

Hi! this drill is called a powerplow in the handbook for coaches from alpine canada! which is the organization I am certified through. The modifications I show certainly are a progressing to a javelin turn but a true javelin turn would technically be at a faster pace in the way I was trained :) I haven't heard it used in a derogatory way but I tend to hang out with some pretty positive skiers! heres the handbook, its an oldy but a goodie! ltad.alpinecanada.org/uploads/documents/Drills_Exercises_Handbook_en.pdf
