- In this episode, we're podcasting from the Oakes Bar and Grill at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, MN. The first caller lets us in on some secrets of the hotel front desk. The next caller rants about his girlfriend FaceTiming him too much. Another caller, who is on house arrest in Wisconsin, gets some ideas from us on how to pass the time. The last caller has a bad squirrel problem in Duluth, but we turn the negative into a positive by finding ways to make money from it.

I think that about at least half the callers. They need a call back episode, where people call back in with updates!
Fun to watch Charlie listen to Myles’ struggles as a new dad and go “whew, glad I don’t have kids (that I know of) yet.”
We’re bellied up groupies in my Milwaukee airport office and flock to the venues seen on this podcast. And they’re always great.

First
Let me just say .. I've gone to jail FIVE TIMES because i wanted to be responsible and not drive. So because i was walking home i got public intoxication charge and sent to jail. Every single person that drove drunk from those bars on those nights..... Home safe... Thousand of dollars, time in jail, lost jobs.... The system taught me i have a lower chance of bad things happening to me if i drive🫤. Also fried(with butter) squirrel is pretty good with eggs for breakfast. Watch for deer, God bless ya's

but all of these extra costs that you make just to go out can be easily avoided.
This is a horrible mentality. Your liklihood of having a dangerous/fatal accident while you're driving is severely worse than if you walk. If you're somewhere where drinking is common you shouldn't get public intoxication unless you're belligerent.

I usually don’t comment on videos but I had to pause because FaceTime guy is an absolute piece of.. work. LET HER GO!! He’s clearly not happy and she deserves someone who enjoys to hear about her day. Feel so bad for her and she doesn’t even know her boyfriend hates her. 😐

That is very true..
You can dislike something your significant other does without hating them. Have you ever been in a long term relationship? Everyone has their problems, everyone has something they don't like about their significant other. I hate that my husband doesn't shower every day if he doesn't work. He hates when I get onto him for breaking/forgetting small driving laws or otherwise being irresponsible/careless. I dislike that he calls me but wants to hang up 5 minutes later because he just wanted to hear my voice (which is sweet), he dislikes that I want to talk with him for at least 10 or 15 minutes when he calls.
Facetime guy needs to communicate with his lady and they need to find a solution. It could be facetime/call at a certain time for a certain amount of time. It could be that she can give him all the updates she wants through text and he'll call when he's ready, or have an actual conversation at home. And yes, he joked about thinking that maybe this isn't the relationship to keep but him saying that in no way means or proves he actually feels that way.
My husband and I joke all the time about divorcing eachother over silly things. If we have an actual issue we talk it out. I'm usually the one to initiate because I have better communication skills than him and he was raised to bottle everything up. That's actually something I didn't like and have worked with him on. He's doing so much better that he'll even tear up watching a movie with me while I'm snotting all over my chest. 😂
Communication is key in every relationship. If you can't even try to communicate there's a deeper issue with one or both parties.
