Hiking and Ultralight Fishing for Trout at South Mountains State Park NC Part 1

In this video my daughter and I hike the Shinny Creek trail at South Mountains State Park in Connelly Springs North Carolina. Along the hike I stopped and did some fishing for Trout in the streams and my daughter did some photography. Some of the photos will be posted on my Facebook and Instagram profiles.

My wife and I went to Boone last week and were considering going there to hike some, but we got a late start. Boone was 1.5 hrs, South Mountains we figured was an additional hour drive. I mistakenly watched part 2 first lol. But great videos and glad I got a view to a definite future trip! Also, definitely been there with a broken rod tip. Again, awesome videos my friend!
