@@DrivingSchoolWA The best in the industry; I had a PDA today at 11:25; yesterday night all i did was to watch your videos. I am an overseas driver so transferring my license; I almost watched everything on your video, not only driving but how they mark, what they look for, what i need to demonstrate. And the good news is I passed my test as well in my own car in my first attempt. I am driving for about 3 years in Australia but you were technically my teacher invisibly; I didn’t take any classes outside; just figured out the PDA route by myself and practiced along the route and practice all the exercises in same spot where they really take the test, i did practice a-lot despite I was excellent driver. I had just 3 error, 1 signaling, 1 flow and 1 movements. Other than that everything is marked ✅✅ in my assessment sheet. And thank you for being such a technical teacher. If someone can take, you have given everything for free in your channel. Pls keep doing it, definitely will tell everyone to subscribe you if they are preparing for PDA. Love and Praises heaps❤️❤️
Hi there, The explanation I was really looking for, was the more complicated roundabout manoeuvre, i.e., correct lane usage when traveling on a roundabout. eg. entering the roundabout with the intention of coming off on the very last left turn. Some are taught to go straight onto the inner circle, & others, to go onto the outer circle. Btw: I can clearly hear your Italian accent, as well as your Australian accent. Gorgeous!
Most people think that Liana. Parking only takes 2 to 3 minutes max. In comparison with that fact (based on our experience) driving sections take a minimum of 20 minutes providing the test is a success. Sometimes tests last only a few minutes if a significant error is recorded early in a PDA. If a candidate goes through the whole procedure, the duration of driving sections is considerably longer. Thank you for watching!
Someone I know failed their PDA in Mirabooka and one of the reasons was failing to check the blind spot when there was a bike lane. He did another exam and corrected his error from the previous (Checked the blind spot this time), still failed, however this time one of the reasons was apparently because it was unnecessary to look at the bike lane when there is no oncoming bike? Do assessors have their own rules? I am so confused. I have my PDA in a few weeks and need a clarification on what is correct :/
Thanks for sharing! They shouldn't fail unless there was a bike overtaking them. It often depends on your speed. If the speed fluctuates and you drive slowly before you transit through the cyclist's lane to make the turn, it's worth checking (especially if you overtook a cyclist prior to getting to that point). If you are cruising at say 50 or 60 and slowing down to about 20 km to turn, it shouldn't be checked (the rear view mirror is sufficient). Check this video that shows the example th-cam.com/video/gxHubun99Hw/w-d-xo.html Sadly, some assessors (not many) have their own set of rules
I failed on braking I at a distance slowly press my brakes (not to slowly just slow enough that I don't press it hard ) I got automatically failed . Instructor said if he didn't press the brake which he said as he did he felt I was braking but already failed me said I would have passed now I'm going again for my test hope I don't fail
Depends on the size. large roundabouts where you can see for miles around in all directions you can get away with top gears. Smaller and blind corners should be done in low gears especially when hot going straight ahead. But also make sure to not stop at every roundabout. The key behind them isn't about how fast you can do them but slowing down when approaching them. Manual is a real pain with roundabouts as people tend to speed in top gears towards them and only slow down when about to do the turn but this focus on gear changing doesn't give you enough time to clearly look to the right. The world would be such a better place without them but they sure are cheaper than traffic lights.
@@vaineratom7739 omg thank you so much and sorry for the very very late reply. I have my PDA in Welshpool in 5 days now, technically. I've mastered going around roundabouts now, so thanks again.
@@vaineratom7739 also you should be able to change gears without thinking and look right. I've never once had a problem with going around roundabouts, my hand moves by itself to go to second gear while i push down the break and look right, then go. Manual is really easy and doesn't require much focus once you get used to it.

Interesting. One would assume that parking both reverse parallel and normal reverse park are the number one reasons to fail

10:42 do you still indicate left when returning back into the left lane even if the parked car is close to the end of the intersection?
If I accidentally hit the curb when reversing out of a driveway whilst doing a left something behind, do I fail?
Sorry for a delayed response. You lose points for the path
