Maybe a question whether it is a sport or not, but mountaineering (specifically alpinism rather than commercial mountaineering). You are out on your own with at max a handful of others, completely at the mercy of the mountain and the elements, sleeping on a belay ledge on a sheer ice face in the middle of patagonia for days waiting out a blizzard and rationing your minimal food and gas that you need to keep warm. Micro decisions you or your team make are the difference between life and death: what to leave at the final camp for a summit push, whether to risk walking under a serac, whether a rock or snow anchor is secure enough to rapel from... Add to that the effects of altitude (where every step can feel like hell), hypothermia, frost bight, navigational errors, dealing with stuck ropes, random uncontrollable rockfall etc. And at the high level you also have to perform under these conditions with world class technical ice and rock climbing skills.
not disagreeing with you but in terms of mental toughness I think you should expand the list to include strongman competition, autoracing, and american rodeo.
Came for meditation. Few objections: 1) I don't think he can just put it that running is just plain 'boring' esp. regarding the challenge side of things. 2) Rather than putting combat sports as 'mentally' challenging I think it's more of a sport that has MORE RISK for HIGH-DEGREES of PHYSICAL TRAUMA. Talk about mental challenge virtually ANYTHING can be outside of sports. Besides I don't like the level of apathy some of those MMA artist exhibit
Running is always boring. Personal opinion (as stated) that it's monotonous, so for some it can be seen as boring. But it's one hell of a challenge! I appreciate your thoughts here. Thanks for taking the time. Great to have you. Lewis 😊💪
No hard feelings though 👋, don't like that someone is talking about sports like he now's definitely all about the different sports whiteout doing them in a high level or knowing how it really feels like
Played professional sport (cricket). Work with professional athletes. Spoken to tons on the podcast. This video was my opinion + my experience, nothing more. I could have listed 10 more sports. Kept it to 5. All a bit of fun here 😊💪
Have you ever went pro in any of these sports, if U haven't, U certainly shouldn't be talking about which is hardest mentally! And you have no ide at all what really is going in a athletes, never what ever the sport ur doing everyone is thinking differently

Great point. Hugely tough sport. Full respect ✊🏼
1. Can't believe cycling (especialy grand tours) is not in your top 5!
2. Golf? I would say snooker is way mentaly harder.
I think ultra running should be more ultra endurance. To encompass these sports too, Tour de France is another level.
Professional cycling is one of the most ruthless sports out there.
It is for sure
The justifications you give for cricket while the Tour de France is currently happening is comical 😅
They won’t forgive me. 😅

I agree with cricket, have you done a top 5 most physical sports?
I haven't. New video idea perhaps!? What would your list be?
@MindStrongSport it's a really good question, I haven't really got a list, but "most physically demanding sports"
Is a good video idea 💡
Crickets lol. I was professional waterpolo player, try that
You have my full respect sir 🫡

I can't understand most of words in mindset courses , meditation
@@thehunters2653we will take a look at this 🙏🏼
Criminal of you not to put powerslap😂
Criminal if it's called a sport! 😂
You also put physical danger as one of criteria and only sport on your list that mach it is combat sport?
Golf easier than skateboarding??
I do both and golf is definitely a little harder. That said, I'm just a seafront cruiser, you aren't going to see me on a halfpipe any day.
