Hi!!! Absolutely! The reason I don’t believe powder should be used for waxing because It’s messy and dries the skin out. Most of the time clients don’t exfoliate or hydrate their skin so it’s already dry. So adding powder on dry skin doesn’t allow the wax to adhere to the hair and do it’s job properly. The wax is adhering to dry skin & powder which can cause hair to break and make the waxing experience more painful for your client. This is why I don’t believe in it.
