Really nice tractor, the 826 was the first large frame Farmall I rode on,my uncle had borrowed a friend of his 826 to become aqauinted with the operation of one as he transitioned to bigger tractors in the early 70's.Eventually we went on up to the 88 series and then the Magnum before I left the farm.I loved the IH tractors and equipment, today my cousin still runs Case-IH equipment.
Obviously the person running the tractor is not smart enough to know that you never engage the PTO at anything more than an idle then bring the throttle up slowly. Other wise it's hard on u joints and gear boxes. 😡
It doesn't sound like you're very familiar with 26-56 series IH tractors. You can feather the PTO engagement with the handle. Additionally, We don't load material against the beaters, so they're not starting under load. The apron is hydraulically driven. Have a nice day.
We overloaded the spreader a couple months ago and sheared a bolt in the beater gear box. For some reason the shear bolts on the PTO shaft didn't break first.

Tractor sounds good
Man! Tractor looks like it just came off show room floor,,, spreader not so much...
Only a suggestion, but operator of tractor, wait for manure to reach the rear of the beaters before you drive forward
That's a clutch suggestion, man.

He spreading the manure very thin.
Yes, it's a no-till field, so I couldn't spread normal thickness
