    She does an excellent job of voicing Sith Warrior companion Jaessa Williams in the Old Republic online game. She was also great in those six episodes of Psych. She also voiced Tifa Lockhart in Kingdom Hearts II. Look like she has been working consistently since She's All That.

    • @zoriononline
      @zoriononline ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think ppl underestimate the work she actually do in SWTOR as Jaesa.
      The difference between her light side and dark side is really something.
      I think it shows of her range really well.

    She's All That was a big deal at the time and it was surprising to me that I didn't see Rachael Leigh Cook that much in movies or shows after that. Josie and the Pussycats is definitely underrated and is still a great movie.

    I saw Josie & The Pussycats in the cinema twice. I thought it was a smart and genuinely funny comedy and told all my friends at the time to go see it. They didn't. It is good to see it's finally getting the respect it deserves, but it's a shame it took so long. It was obviously very ahead of it's time.

      If you look at the wider narrative the film is portraying it's surprisingly dark and revealing with regards to the music industry, mind control etc. It almost has it's own subliminal messaging contained within it (but a good kind, I think).

    I met and interacted with Rachel several times in Vancouver during the filming of Josie and on various other projects and guys. . .She really isnt all that bright. The best way to describe her is plain. Just plain and uninteresting and uninterested in anything around her.
    She had a look but a look that didnt age or transition well. Thats all she had. Even here talking really look at her eyes, she has nothing going on there. She just happened to be "Cute" at a time when that meant something (Late 90s was screaming for "Cute WB teen drama girl") and she just happened to be there and it happened. . .Sort of.
    She did okay but there really wasnt much to work with. She didnt have the brains to really go anywhere and didnt have all that much gumption as well. If she worked any other job she would be a diversity hire and barely make supervisor. Like she said here, by the time she saw what she had been apart of it was already passed. Just totally sleep walking through everything around her.
    Rosario Dawson had that "Spark" she was and is smart as all hell. I dealt with her several times during that production and she was on the ball. Her continued success is no surprise.
    Tara? Yeah well. . . Whatever.

    • @KRAFTWERK2K6
      @KRAFTWERK2K6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I appreciate your honesty good sir! Much better & more believable than uncritical yes-man interviews. 👍 Yup, some people have a talent to fall upwards without actually doing much for it. Ah, the thing about Rosario basically confirms what i had assumed for some years now that she's someone i would have gotten along with really amazingly well, talking to and working with her. Not just because of her wits but also her great sense of humor as well. She's a precious for real. :] Her repertoire of roles really grew so much over the years. It's awesome to see what she has done so far. (edit: typo "grew" not "grow")

    • @zenhalimana
      @zenhalimana ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This explains a lot... She reminds me of an ex of mine who pretty much had the same thing going. Very cute, unopiniated and really just happy to go in the direction the wind blew. Eventually people get tired of looking at a pretty face and want more stimulation & variety. Compare Jessica Alba and Scarlett - both very pretty but one just has that "'spark."

    • @focusedonfuture3255
      @focusedonfuture3255 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zenhalimana Jessica is very smart and canny. She made her money, got out and invested wisely. She is rich as all hell now, north of 200 million and a company valued over a billion.
      Scar Jo is pure ego and covert narcissism. That fake sweetheart that somehow people let slide. Only once did I see the mask drop on her and that was when she was on Kimmel with the rest of the Avengers cast and they had via video the guy who played Coulson show up and he asked them if they would show up on Agents of Shield and really look at Scar Jo's face.
      She is rather offended at the thought of doing a "TV show". Again I have worked with her once and while professional if you really look close enough the quiet angry narcissist is just under the surface. Nobody will love her as much as she does. Ryan Reynolds showed what a class act he was and how he dealt with the fallout of their marriage because of her narcissism.

    • @zenhalimana
      @zenhalimana ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@focusedonfuture3255 I don't doubt that Jessica is smart - business wise. I was commenting more on her role choices that favoured her looks rather than her acting ability. Scarlett has the looks and more range. As for her personality & character I can't comment on that because I don't know her beyond the image she's potrayed as in the media.
