Hey, I ran into a problem at 6:25 , I clicked on the arrow but Shimeji wasn't one of the options of tools/apps to choose from.. Any idea on how to make it appear? I installed it from Chrome, it's in my extension lists, but it won't pop up in the toolbar area.
I tried downloading but it stick behind a zip folder not allowing me to open it as every time i hit open it redownloads a new file saying save then when i hit save it says open then i open and it repeat the whole process over again over and over so not being able to get the desk top pet because of it.
the version that was available to me on the Java site was the most recent update, the Version 8 Update 281. I downloaded it adn followed all of the instructions on the screen and everything was going smooth until i got to the 'open with' step. when i selected open with there was only one option to open through java and that was the "Java(TM) Web Launcher. There wasn't a file anywhere on my laptop after installing java that was named 'Java(TM) Program SE Binary'. Just to be sure i went through with it and just used the available one instead and it did nothing. no pop ups or anything. just nothing. can someone help please? id love to get these working!

@@oliverzwatermelongum I fixed it and it’s really cool (except the times they throw them off my screen but that’s not so often and can be turned off in the settings)
@@andi4833 I'd love to know how you fixed it? I found what seems like settings to dictate which windows they can move, but it only asks for names, and they don't seem to wanna touch them either way. If you remember how you got them to interact with other windows, I would really appreciate your advice!
@@Emu19 hey, in the end of the video you can see how to do it: in the names write all vowels in small and cap letters (each one as a separate name) and they will interact with all windows :)

In other words; + I download Java and Shimeji + I install Java from the setup and unzip Shimeji + I go to the open-with and try to open it with Java Binary + Nothing. Has this happened before? did you extract the files first? usually if a file is zipped it won’t allow you to open them until unzipped
