Martyn and Scott are gonna be interesting together. Martyn through the series has always been very loyal and shockingly resourceful. It’ll clash well with Scott and how easy going yet cunning he is.
Yeah, Martyn is stupidly loyal to both Dogwarts in season 1 and the southlanders in season 2 and has never had a resource crisis before!
He’s also survived to the finals with relative frequency
@@catherinelin8548 uhhh, he died in session one because he was low and out of food. I tested it myself, if he had just 1 heart or so more he would've lived that fall. So he did literally have a resource crisis THIS season
@@Savariable by resource crisis I think they mean that usually if you go to him to ask for some quick resources, he mostly has them, and rarely doesn't lack any. The session 1 food grind is just natural given the fact that passive mobs don't spawn.
It feels weird to me, as when I was first introduced to both Martyn and Scott they were working together on something, so I've always mentally associated the two together. Now I will get to see how that plays out for real!

Scott is both the most friendly one on the server and the most horrifying one on the server and I love it.
A character in a story I read said something like, "Being nice is a choice for dangerous men. If you aren't dangerous, you aren't nice, you are harmless." Look at the difference between Skizz and Scar. Both extremely nice people, but Lifers fear Scar a lot more than Skizz because they know that Scar can be deranged and dangerous when he needs to be. Skizz is mostly harmless. For Scar, being nice is a choice, for Skizz, being nice is all he's got.

It's super effective.
Scott and Martin having little bases underwater is actually op tho, they can swim down there when they're chased and build a tunnel towards mainland
They can also block the entrance off when they're inside and it's harder cause they're underwater, oh and they can build traps too, surrounding the entrance with trapped pufferfish or magma blocks

i love the irony, if scott asked for books from the other teams there is a big chance theyll ask for an exchange but the "bad boys" just cheerfully allows you to get in unsupervised ..theyre alot more wholesome than bad at tht point lmaoo
Yeah, they seem to be more bad as in "recklessly foolish" rather than "morally reprehensible," though that line blurs sometimes.
Love how Scott manages to not die, play it smart, get essential resources as well as make pretty cute homes. I'm all for it.
I like how in the last 2 seasons that Scott and Martyn had also been teammates in the end and they betrayed/battle eachother, And in this season their living as The Mean Gills.

I like that Scott and Martyn are teaming up together, they have kind of been rivals throughout the life series so it'll be nice seeing them work together for a change, and not just out of neccessity.
The comedic coincidence that Pearl teamed with the man who betrayed Cleo, and Scott teamed up with the man who betrayed Cleo as well is fascinating.

By the time we get to the last ep we’re gonna vote which group name was the best or has the best attitude 💅
If you're going to make one block tall tunnels, I would suggest using some sort of block pattern to let you know which direction your facing in case you panic and forget in an emergency. Perhaps just at random intervals. For instance, every ten blocks having a granite and diorite block. The granite would be in the direction of the isles, and the diorite toward the destination. It could be on the wall, floor, or ceiling.

I didn't watch Scott in the other life's, but it's pretty funny that he legit just wants to build a pretty house and not kill anyone. Even though, the clips I've seen from other people show that he is legit good at the game, he can fight, but he's chosen to build a cute little beach house instead lol

Why did I spend so much time thinking about how they can do the mean girls Christmas dance as a kill? Dress up in Santa dresses, play the music and dance on stage, when the music does the glitch thing go and kill, then just go back and dance like normal

Hey Scott. I don’t play Java that much (bad pc) but as far as I’m aware it doesn’t matter which bush you grow, they both grow into trees with flowering azalea leaves on them. So you shouldn’t have had to waste two extra bonemeal to get the flowering bush 💙💙💙

Hi Scott! I love you so much. So I love the tropics too. Try gathering kelp to put in a composter. It grows quickly so this can get you a lot of bone meal. Then you can use bonemeal for your crops and stuff!

Hey Scott, there's a really good alternative to coal that's entirely renewable since you're in the ocean. Dried kelp blocks last just about as long as coal blocks, and they're super easy to make! This means more coal towards torches, and a nigh infinite source of fuel for furnaces!
