    That makes a difference Joe. Quite a bit more light. I replaced the reverse bulbs on my truck with Lasfit LED’s. They brighten up the back pretty good. Nice video

    I cut out my ram 2500 bumper and put perlux truck road lights for back up lights for the wiring i included diodes and a switch behind the bumper for work lights the diodes keep the power from back feeding the system when they are used as work lights

    I prefer the RIGID ignite lights. The RIGID ignite you just hook them up to the tail lights like you did you don't have to run wires all the way to the battery.

    Great Video. One quick question, how do you switch between stockighting and baja lights? Thanks in advance

      You don't with the setup I have. They are wired into the reverse lights. So, if you want light, you have to be in reverse. You could wire it independently, but I didn't have the need or desire to run all that wire...

      I wired mine independently and plugged them into my auxiliary bank that my 2022 Ram 2500 is equipped with. I went with the Diode Dynamics lights but have them mounted on Baja's brackets. 75 bucks for a pair separate of lights, but honestly worth it. It takes about 25 feet of wiring to run from the lights to the control cluster. Diode Dynamics lights have a backlight as well in amber so I want to connect them to my reverse lighting the way his are done.

    Good video, just installed on my '23. Do you find the lights turn on/off on their own randomly when truck first fires up and in reverse? re-cleaned ground, but only happens when running first 5 minutes or so if trying to reverse

      Never had any issues like that. It does sound like a wiring issue of some sort though. Could depend on where you are getting power from.

      Was your wire black on your 23’? The one on my 7 pin is and that’s what I ended up tying into

    Is it possible to bypass the harness they provide and run a wire up to the engine bay to hook up to the factory AUX switches?

    • @whateverfits1978
      @whateverfits1978  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah man it's super, super easy. Just make sure you have plenty of wire and don't be lazy with your soldering and heat shrink.

    Hey brother, is that single white and purple stripe wire for both reverse lights?

    • @whateverfits1978
      @whateverfits1978  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the lights have a harness and that taps the single white and purple striped wire for power.
