Sorry for the reupload! Had to re-render it because there was one too many errors in the original one (was rendered in 24 fps, the 5700X3D was incorrectly labeled in the summary, and the 1080p/1440p labels were missing during the benchmark). Normally I let an error or two go, but my goodness did I miss a bunch on this one the first time.
Never mind the fact the Republic is collapsing, here, just watch this banal, repetitive tech video on a GPU that is going nowhere because intel is a fundamentally broken company that prioritizes their dumpster fire PCs over the one thing that could save their butts.
great build but i would still pick the 3070 over this, less vram but it won't matter at 1080p plus better perfomance and not performance loss on Dx11 titles
Totally agree if you’re going down the new pc route. If you’re on an AMD X470/B450 motherboard it’s cheap to upgrade to a Ryzen 5600/x or 5700X3D cpu and get the Arc GPU and get over ~95% (or better) of its total performance in the vast majority of titles at 1080p and 1440p🥰😇💪
Its actually quite a good card in the price range and well worth it in a budget build especially paired with the 5700X3D on aliexpress with their monthly discount codes.
You should look into the comparison between windows 10 vs 11 with ryzen 5000 you will be surprised, the performance difference is very noticeable and amd should sue microsoft for this.
I went with a b570 as the 580 has been sold out. Put it in my backup rig with a 5600. I have noticed a couple anomalies. I think just errors with their software. Nothing too bad. In helldivers the cpu load was 100% looked at task manager and it was saying that Intel software was using all the resources. Closed it and everything went back to normal 🤷♂️ what really impresses me is that even overclocked the Hotspot doesn't go past 70c even with a 24c room. Draws so little power compared to a 5700xt or 6700.
I bought one of these to pair with a 7950x3d which I primarily use for video editing but still wanted the ability to play games without spending a fortune. Obviously no issues with driver overhead, but I did have to end up returning the card because of constant crashes when waking from sleep, using Vegas with GPU acceleration turned on, or playing RDR2. Ended up spending far more on a 7900xt as its replacement which I expect to be fine for several years and haven't had a single crash since.
Hello bro Good test but I want to ask you?many tests shows that this card ARC B580 has many issues with the entry level of CPUs and bad compatibility with the old games that have not dx12
do you think AMD will compete in the 250-350 USD GPU price range with the 9000 series at all? I'm waiting for a successor to my current RX 6600 which was the last budget king imo. The B580 isn't quite enough of an upgrade for me, especially if I need to upgrade my CPU as well. Bullish on AMD!
Can anyone speak to support in older games? Im a gen x "gamer" , have some of my golden oldies from around 2000 that i still like to play as well as some newer. Upgraded my system to a 9600x over xmas but kept my 6650 so my next is a new gpu and a jump into 1440.
The B580 is finally becoming available in my country of Singapore. However the price after tax doesn't make it that attractive, the lowest price we could get it is at $308 USD Compared to its competition, the Nvidia 4060 8GB is around $330 USD, so a $20 premium for Nvidia. Whereas the Radeon 6600 8GB is available at retail stores and Amazon for around $235 USD, so its a whooping $70 discount to get the Radeon card (compared to the B580) So the Radeon 6600 8GB is still the best budget friendly brand new GPU in my country right now.
@FLANK_920 i think the peerless assassin he used is perfect, no need for an AIO unless you want a super quiet and low temp build, i think that cooler, for the price, is the best available, and less money used, more money for games.
I got myself an Intel B580 in my HTPC build with a Ryzen 5800X3D ☺and enjoying this great GPU! The point made about the B580 in Forza with fps is that the GPU tends to often perform very similarly in many game titles at 1080p vs 1440p while still being basically as performant as the Rx7600 and RTX4060 gpus which are it main competitors. I believe, imo, that Intels Arc cpu overhead might be part of the reason this GPU handles 1440p🤔. I agree the B580 is more a 1440p GPU 💪🥳and as shown can run many games quite well …… however saying that, UE5 titles do perform worse (not necessarily bad thou) under the Arc architecture than AMD Radeon and Nvidia’s technologies. I have found that Arc’s upscaler, XeSS, is noticeably better for image quality over FSR and vary comparable to Nvidia’s DLSS technology in games that support it🤓🙂↕🥹

Man is uploading videos with errors what a scandal, just kidding, great video sir. I need this GPU in my life.

Round 2, BUCEES SHIRT LETS GO
thanks for talking very good about the cpu I use in my new system
Love the Chrono Trigger music best ever!!!!!
I'm rocking the Arc B580 with Ryzen 5 7600. I can highly recommend this combo.
Playing in 1440p no problem.

Great build, if I needed a build. This is what I would build part for part

I highly recommend to get a used 3060 ti for 280 Dollars, since it has a ~30% performance advantage.
Edmonton Ab Memory Express has 4 in stock, if anyone is interested. $350 Can
Buc-ee's T-Shirt FTW! ❤
Fantastic music choice

The music is 👌 and that case is cool.
1:49 when it comes to this stuff, "No! No! No! Light speed too slow!"

That's an awesome build, but after taxes, it cost $807 which is still a steal. Love the content.🎉
Hello bro

Did you tested with the lastest driver 6262??
Yessss B580 after knife battle in the streets.
aye lynnwood represent.
Just scored one. Pairing it with a 9700x
I want to get this card for my son but he has a 5600 G. Gonna have to upgrade the CPU as well
Buy a used 6700xt if you can and keep the 5600g and then upgrade to am5 platform next and carry over the gpu
It's back!
hey, thanks for the content. i was wondering, under which category do you uploads your videos?

Thanks for the info. I'm searching for an AMD GPU for my 7600x build. Any thoughts 7600xt vs 7700xt or other?
pretty sure the 4060 blows it away after the new dlss update. the cpu is overkill though 130 for that one is a decent enough price.
I reay want to see an Intel build, say i9 gen 12?
For some reason I want to play Chrono Trigger now 😂
👍👍👍👍
🔥🔥🔥🍻👌😊
i think 1440p is the most interesting if it was a bit cheaper and didnt have inconsistant fps in games against the rtx 4060 its a no brainer
I got about all the sames parts my board, audio is horrible on that board
Can anyone speak to support in older games? Im a gen x "gamer" , have some of my golden oldies from around 2000 that i still like to play as well as some newer. Upgraded my system to a 9600x over xmas but kept my 6650 so my next is a new gpu and a jump into 1440.
Aliexpress 5700X3D ftw!

4 more gigs of vram for 20 less dollars is a decent deal
really? here (indonesia) Limited Edition for $276. asrock steel legend, sparkle titan 3 fan $300. also maxun 3 fan $310.
😛😋
Wo let’s go nerd!!
maybe buy a cheaper motherboard and case then add an aio into the build
why an AIO?
@ I think it would make the build more aesthetic only reason to be honest and I feel like it wouldn’t lower the performance that much
@FLANK_920 i think the peerless assassin he used is perfect, no need for an AIO unless you want a super quiet and low temp build, i think that cooler, for the price, is the best available, and less money used, more money for games.
it's not budget gaming PC if its not below $ 500
pls get me a 3050
