@@lana-ana-ana side chain compression is a technique producers use in electronic music. They lower the volume of certain sounds when the kick drum hits to make it sound more impactful. This results in the pulsing effect you can hear at 1:45 in the song. The effect is pretty extreme here hence my comment. I do really like it though.
