Just a tip! I went to the same college- lived in those dorms. You can lower your bed closer to the ground if you want, so you don’t feel so high off the ground. :)
Such a wonderful role model!! You worked very hard in school and in life to get where you are today. Having that “driven” mindset (that you truly already have) will take you so far in life. Nothing is ever handed to you and you will do GREAT things in life, no matter what you end up doing. I love you and miss you already. And I’m so proud and happy for you!! 💕💕💕
im an incoming freshman too and even though im not moving in in the fall anymore its so nice to see someone go through this in a way that i can relate. a lot of people dont show the hard parts, but its really helpful and comforting that u did❤️❤️🥰

My daughter just moved into her dorm and while her fairy lights aren't a curtain, we were able to use command hooks to hang them under her bed which was raised to the 2nd highest setting (she was afraid she might roll off the bed and wanted the extra couple of inches of bedrail for safety 🤷♀️).
I am so jealous of people who can afford going to college, living in nice place and not caring about money at all😅. I gotta work for that but I hope I’ll make it
