Never went for Kappa... the amount of time you need to invest to get it is just not realistic for me. My "kappa" is to get to lvl 42 and then just pvp and loot.

Disagree. We all know BSG will be adding a key that you can only store in the Kappa container. And that key will be how you escape Tarkov. And after finally doing it. BSG will completely wipe your account and remove your access to the game so you can TRUELY escape Tarkov.
Might aswel go for kappa each wipe as you will force yourself into doing things in the game wich are out of your comfort zone. Achieving these goals makes you a better player. If you just hop on every once in a while to play with friends its not for you , but if you play a wipe serious and set some goals for yourself its achieveble for everyone.
Had the game for 3+ years. Was level 65 one of the wipes. Now I went for kappa, done all the tasks, just need a couple more levels and it’s been torture (especially with bosses) but it’s been another type of gameplay and I’ve enjoyed it.
As someone on their first wipe, the size of Kappa isn't what really mattered, it made the game fun by being forced into uncomfortable positions to learn the game. Now after Kappa if anything the game feels more stale without any objective barring doing Lightkeeper
First wipe getting kappa? I'd like to see your stats cuz my first and second wipe I could get close to the level restrict but nowhere near quests finished. Sounds to me you either are a credit card gamer or don't contribute to society

A few months ago during this wipe I got Kappa for the first time since I started playing back in 2021. This was such a headache and if I had not played with my friends as much as I did there is no way in hell I would have done it. This is mostly due to the amount of stress having a group relived me of, I cant imagine what doing certain quests like Bullshit or getting 4 people into factory to shoot each others armors for 5 minutes looks like for a pure solo. Safe to say that this is something I wont be doing again.
lol, Dad with a job here, just got Kappa this last week. Definitely a grind, but something I've wanted to do since starting many wipes ago. Doubt I'll ever do it again. You make a lot of good points, but it's hard to pick a goal sometimes. Kappa is an easy target to identify and work towards. Will probably do lightkeeper next wipe since I'm stuck on assessment part 1 right now and servers are basically dead.
i wouldnt bother with lighkeeper, only good thing he sells is cqcm and that facemask has barely any coverage. the outfit at the end is a huge time sink and is only doable during events
I've got 5300 hours, I long ago discovered kappa is pointless. And getting it makes you hate the game, I'm currently level 54 so I it's not like it's out of my reach either
I got mine for the first time just a couple days ago, it was a fun but stressful grind. As much as I hated it, I'll probably still go for it, I feel a lot more motivated with a proper end goal, I don't think I could play tarkov too long WITHOUT said goal.
first wipe ever for me and first didnt really push for kappa but got it anyways after i saw i got really close after getting to lightkeeper. took me like 1100 raids. next wipe im gonna try to speedrun it and see how fast i can get it compared to this wipe. for me its a fun challenge
With the most recent armor changes could you do an armor plates tier list? Factoring protection, as well as weight and maybe what armors they can be used with?
For someone who is a chad on a standard account...those extra 3 slots...are more than just that...those slots are 8 more slots...and thus worth getting...HOWEVER...you are pretty much at the end game when getting the quest done...and if you are lucky and havent cheesed any of the quests like most streamers do...consider yourself getting the kappa container with constantly on the grind, after 2 1/2 months in.
I've had Kappa only twice. Once was as a standard account 3 years ago, and right after that I upgraded to EoD. The 2nd was this wipe, and I've barely played since I unlocked it.
Me and my group are firmly Kappa enjoyers. We play the game an unhealthy amount. This wipe we felt it was worth going for Kappa. The only quest we boosted was Psycho Sniper, that shit is torture. I love Sniping but hell nah I’m gonna kill 5 PMC’s without dying. XD
It’s definitely doable with a full time job. It’s my first wipe, I definitely play daily, probably about 8pm-midnight and I’m currently only 3 tasks away. This is also while sucking ass at the game. I have no idea how I did psycho sniper and the guide. Part of it might be because of the group I played with at the start only did quests, every raid was completing tasks, no looting or fun allowed. Side note, my reason for getting it is just to flex on my friends, never going for it again.
I say to anyone who has base game, that wants a bigger secure container. Focus on getting the punisher questline done. You'll unlock the 8 slot secure container without having to collect every item and reach level 48.
Its also an end goal for some till main release. Once i get it im playing games ive missed out on. Ive been jobless since november and barely put bout 3 hrs a day. Now that i work its less. Almkst got it though.
That's how I am. I feel lost without a quest line to do. Once you have gear and money, PVP kinda feels pointless to me. It's almost like different people like different things 🤣.
Omicron will be a 3x3+3x1 container and it will be in a new edition 100% or an expansion. Can't wait for EOD players to whine when their edition isin't the best in the game again istg like when they did with unheard. EOD is op asf with gamma, stash size, free rep, better guns, etc. Unheard comes out and people complain... now it costs normal players or new ones another 100$ to get the most op item in the game.
I play tarkov only in Pve. I'm level 57, done some of the hardest quests for the kappa already and I have collected all of the streamer items. Some quests were in PvE were actually really fun while in PvP they would be absolutely nightmarish, like that shooter born in heaven. I also completed the guide today, as I had randomly just reached 6 out of 10 maps to it playing casually without paying too much attention to it. The rest 4 were just me ratting through nighttime shore, lighthouse, streets and GZ. I hadn't played tarkov in many years before Pve launch, only during 2 or 3 wipes like back in 2018, and I never even reached level 30. In general I suck at PvP games, be it moba or FPS or whatever, and I also always had the biggest of gear fears so I just never liked tarkov all that much. So when PvE for tarkov launched I was very happy. As for the kappa itself, it's foing to be a pretty big QoL upgrade for me, since I can maybe fit that grizzly back in there, or it's a lot easier to take paracord with me to reserve and I don't have to think that I need to leave home or take with me in the rigs.
Great video. I do enjoy having quests to focus on as it keeps me motivated. However, I have no desire to grind for Kappa. I do the quests that unlock gear and good ammo. Keep up with the Tarkov content!
My goal were max traders and epsilon container (standard account), I didn't always reach those but I did at least on a few different occasions. By moving punisher part 4 from shoreline to lighthouse I feel like they fucked me out of the epsilon container, because I can't for the life of me force myself to play lighthouse for 1 second longer than I need to. It's just an objectively badly designed map, I don't really know any other viable way to get kills on that map other than sniping, which I'm not really a fan of or that good at. I also especially avoid the rogue camp unless I have quests there.
I never got kappa, every wipe I like the game as long as I have some proper progress going on. And when I get the bitcoin miner running and have the red rebel for easier extracts in Reserve, I just get bored and stop playing. I need some constant small progress to keep me interested. Some 3 extra slots in my butt somewhere in the distant future doesn't matter for me. Also I like raids where I'm the underdog with bad equipment, solo and afraid to lose my gear. I like trying to get into a certain place to pick up an item and then don't want to lose it as I extract. As soon as I get far enough and I have stash full of rigs, helmets, guns, ammo and heals. I just don't feel like playing is worth it. I die, so what, pick up new gear and keep going. Lose quest item and all stuff again, no problem I'll just sell a couple of bitcoins and buy stuff.
A lot of quests are also just luck, I like to set Kappa as a goal despite only having just under 600hrs and being a full-time student just because I'm an over-achiever, and a lot of the quests I just brute-force run it down until I eventually get it done. Last wipe was my 3rd wipe and I really hit the quests the hardest I ever have, and I didn't even get close. I ended just over level 30 and in the middle of all of the lighthouse quests.
At 850 raids, playing 1-4 hours a day about 5 days/week, I'm 16 quests away from Kappa. You're spot on about everything. I would like to get it this wipe, but I highly doubt I'll attempt it ever again. I like doing quests but some of them are the opposite of fun. The only case I see for Kappa is the challenge factor. It's forced me to play very challenging situations that I would otherwise avoid.
I got Kappa this wipe, just found myself 4 quests away from it. Took me 731 raids. It was surprisingly easy, the only challenging quest was Insomnia, because man is it difficult to find people to kill at night maps. If I went for it intentionally, I think I could've done it in like 400 raids, may be even less.

I started playing SPT, personal opinion - No more stress, anxiety and gear fear and AI PMC's are pretty decent with lots of behaviour customization and best thing -> NO CHEATERS!!!
Forcing me out of my comfort zone, I have to learn maps I normally wouldn't play at all because of quests and I think it's just making me a better player in every way.
I'm like 70(58 if excluding gunsmith) quests away from kappa with all the required items for collector in my stash, I really want to go for that but I think I started playing too late
I heard someone say you should be able to skip quests with trader rep and personally think this is a great idea ofc your gonna have to pay a pretty penny to skip but at least speeds stuff up ip
Been playing since the customs expansion wipe. This is First wipe I got kappa. Questing gives the game purpose. I work 10 hrs a day and have a social life and go on vacations. If you enjoy questing go for it. I always avoided because of bolt actions but dvl was fun.
Somebody needs to make a video or guide of what quests are worth doing and where you can stop questing and what to do/ have fun with tarkov when you get there.

I've always just enjoyed tarkov for what it is so I play every wipe as if I'm getting kappa even though I usually don't. I just enjoy having a goal/mission and very rarely go into a raid without one. I'm defnitely getting kappa this wipe. 4 more insomnia kills and an evasion armband, and I get the big bum. This wipe has just been so enjoyable with the recoil changes, progession changes, ect that I've actually played most days consistently this entire wipe so far. Normally I take several breaks per wipe, but this wipe just hit different lol.
Kappa has always just taken so long so I’ve never attempted to even try so I feel like your right tbh, the three space I only cared for so I can fit two injector case and a sicc case with a grizzly which I prefer to use
I got Kappa my second wipe. I did not play 8-12hours a day. It took me 590 PMC raids and probably like 200-300 hours playtime. I just like having a goal when playing so Kappa is perfect for me. I made every raid and kill count and checked my quests
Congrats. I just can't be bothered to do the quests. I just find them not fun at all. He made a good point, because everyone I know who tries for Kappa tends to hate the game. I think it would be cool to have the quests be more randomized or alternative paths. Perhaps longer to get there etc.
I believe it was 2020 is when my friends and I all got Kappa. it was the last time we did it, and nearly the last time all of us could play all at the same time.
Kappa Haver/ Light Keeper here: I work from home and have a lot of downtime. There is no way a student or a fulltime worker can achieve this. I have wasted so much time playing these absurd quests.
I'd say that lightkeeper is actually kinda doable since it needs much less annoying quests and the final questline to get to him actually feels a bit unique.
Ive played Tarkov since 2019 and have never achieved Kappa. As a husband, father and person with a career its not realistic within wipe constraints. I get max traders each wipe then just PVP my nuts off for a couple of months. I don't think it should be nerfed though, with the exception of reducing certain quest requirements (Setup should only be 10 kills). I enjoy the challenges of the kappa chase even if I cant reach it.
This was my first real wipe and I put in almost 600-700 hours into the game. I previously played back in 2019 and 2020 casually and never hit level 15 (because I hated the learning curve). I am very, VERY close to achieving Kappa. I only have Psycho Sniper, kill Glukhar, kill the Goons, and find the 2 LEDX's for Crisis. But I decided to give up because Gray Zone warfare came out and I just could not be bothered anymore with my time. SBIH took a lot of my time and was the bane of my existence for a long time (although I did eventually complete it). I know I could push for Kappa and complete the last 4 quests if I really want to, but I choose not to. I miss playing other games lol. I'll get Kappa one day, just not this wipe. I'll end at level 48 this wipe :)
Even though not that useful, I just like the goal of Kappa. Something to see and work towards and get rewarded for. They could reward me with a small can of tushonka but the point of achieving the goal is what i love

I did get kappa twice though (not recently) and then instantly stop playing. I feel like forcing me to have some structure and goofy challenges are what keep me playing. Even this wipe when I only played to lvl 32~33 and I come back at the very end I'm still playing Shooter Born and Setup just for the challenge or to get better at them.
I will say you are 100% correct and will add: by the time one has access to kappa, which is 48+ usually 50ish level, there is nothing you will put in it that you can't loose on that level just by money alone. I never got a kappa on pvp but I got it on PvE, and what did I put in those extra 3 slots: paracord on maps with red rebel extract, more ammo on most maps, and sometimes when you expect to spend a whole map in - food and water... If I got it in PvP I would maybe put a documents case next to my sicc case, but this still just leads to trying to get more money out of the map IF YOU DIE, which is silly at lvl 50+, you should have enough money to afford to die at that point. Kappa is literally trash in terms of functionality, if you have gamma you are all set my man..
I think I've hit 700 hours in 3 months. I reset my account at 32 though since I didn't understand Fence and the karma system. I didn't understand why Scavs would say, "I'm a scav, bro!" So!? I wasn't aware of the rep system.
I got max traders for the 1st time ever, and this is my 3rd wipe of serious gaming (in my standards, considering a job and a large family) 😂 Even this was so much grind for me that I will probably opt out from 2-3 next wipes.
@@iPodCharger69420 i believe TickleMePink ment its diminishing in use, and not mathematically. Like if u r survival rate is low, then u would be correct - doubling the safe space could mean u keep double the valuable loot u get to keep regardless. But it sounds like a whole other issue all together
I just simply hate to play with boltactions, hence i will never be able to make the Kappa. Not sure why BSG is putting that many bolt-action kill into the quests, but i just never felt confortable to play the 1hit guns. Otherwise all other quests are done, but i just dont want to frustrate myself with Psycho sniper and shooterborn
I feel like you saying skill is irrelevant for the kappa grind in Tarkov is copium. I work a 9 to 5 and I got kappa in less than 40 days (I don't remember exactly how many days it took)
It really isn't, tasking in Tarkov is simply not skill orientated. It is just a matter of how much time you want to invest doing silly tasks for traders.

Got kappa 4 times without really going for it, I find once you have the dumb streamer bs all other stuff just kinda happens if you play full wipe and know what to keep. 3 items off kappa this wipe as it will be my last wipe on pvp as I expect the PVE to be my main for tarkov once they decide to stop being greedy and give it to EOD users in these "waves"
The biggest advantage of Kappa is that it teaches you how to do every single quest in the game. The vast majority of your xp will come from quests. Since high tier ammo and loot is locked behind quests and level, it is in your best interest to pursue something like Kappa that way you quickly level up and unlock high tier gear. “Playing the game normally” is actually a disservice and puts you in a hamster wheel where you’re constantly dying and buying in an endless cycle. With kappa, you have a clear progression goal and most of the quests required for kappa are needed to unlock high tier loot anyways.
youre better off just pursuing quests that unlock good items on traders/give said items to you over trying to complete everything. Theres multiple quests that are fucking annoying without giving any meaningful rewards minus xp and theres a good chance that doing normal raids will net you more xp/hour.
Tbh this is why I buy every stupid edition they sell.... yea I know most people will hate me for that... but I have a really important day job and very limited spare time.... I need every bit of help I can get to make the game more playable. I was actually disappointed that Unheard didn't get a better box than Gamma... but I also think that the earnable one needs to be the best (Maybe unheard could have become 4x4 and the Kappa could have been upgraded to 5x5 or something crazy good like that).

Never went for Kappa. I never had the time to play the game in the way it requires you to play to get Kappa in any meaningful time. There's also a skill issue. I played this game on an antiquated toaster of a computer up until a year ago. I was never able to use scopes with magnification or engage in CQC without my frames dropping to single digits. It severely limited my EFT experience. About a year ago I got a beast of a PC and can finally enjoy some frames with my Tarkov. After over five years at the game, this is the first wipe I was playing and having fun from the get go. That is, until real life dragged me away from it. Picked it up again just before all the streamers and You Tubers threw a tantrum over the Unheard edition and have been having fun with it again. It's pointless to pursue Kappa unless you play with that in mind since wipe day. Hell, I'm purposefully ignoring quests that are annoying and just having fun with the game instead.
I came back 7 months after watching having finally achieved the unachievable! Yes but is an easy event but for a filthy casual like me I will take the win! If it wasn't for this video I would never have done it!

I went for Kappa every time because I am objective oriented. Everything else felt completely pointless.
That's how I am. I feel lost without a quest line to do. Once you have gear and money, PVP kinda feels pointless to me. It's almost like different people like different things 🤣.
I'm curious, once you reach kappa, what will you do next? Play less and wait for next wipe? Play other games? Or continue the schedule as before?

Omicron will be a 3x3+3x1 container and it will be in a new edition 100% or an expansion. Can't wait for EOD players to whine when their edition isin't the best in the game again istg like when they did with unheard.
EOD is op asf with gamma, stash size, free rep, better guns, etc. Unheard comes out and people complain... now it costs normal players or new ones another 100$ to get the most op item in the game.

I play tarkov only in Pve.
I'm level 57, done some of the hardest quests for the kappa already and I have collected all of the streamer items. Some quests were in PvE were actually really fun while in PvP they would be absolutely nightmarish, like that shooter born in heaven. I also completed the guide today, as I had randomly just reached 6 out of 10 maps to it playing casually without paying too much attention to it. The rest 4 were just me ratting through nighttime shore, lighthouse, streets and GZ.
I hadn't played tarkov in many years before Pve launch, only during 2 or 3 wipes like back in 2018, and I never even reached level 30. In general I suck at PvP games, be it moba or FPS or whatever, and I also always had the biggest of gear fears so I just never liked tarkov all that much. So when PvE for tarkov launched I was very happy.
As for the kappa itself, it's foing to be a pretty big QoL upgrade for me, since I can maybe fit that grizzly back in there, or it's a lot easier to take paracord with me to reserve and I don't have to think that I need to leave home or take with me in the rigs.

Great video. I do enjoy having quests to focus on as it keeps me motivated. However, I have no desire to grind for Kappa. I do the quests that unlock gear and good ammo. Keep up with the Tarkov content!
My goal were max traders and epsilon container (standard account), I didn't always reach those but I did at least on a few different occasions. By moving punisher part 4 from shoreline to lighthouse I feel like they fucked me out of the epsilon container, because I can't for the life of me force myself to play lighthouse for 1 second longer than I need to. It's just an objectively badly designed map, I don't really know any other viable way to get kills on that map other than sniping, which I'm not really a fan of or that good at. I also especially avoid the rogue camp unless I have quests there.

I never got kappa, every wipe I like the game as long as I have some proper progress going on. And when I get the bitcoin miner running and have the red rebel for easier extracts in Reserve, I just get bored and stop playing.
I need some constant small progress to keep me interested. Some 3 extra slots in my butt somewhere in the distant future doesn't matter for me. Also I like raids where I'm the underdog with bad equipment, solo and afraid to lose my gear. I like trying to get into a certain place to pick up an item and then don't want to lose it as I extract. As soon as I get far enough and I have stash full of rigs, helmets, guns, ammo and heals. I just don't feel like playing is worth it. I die, so what, pick up new gear and keep going. Lose quest item and all stuff again, no problem I'll just sell a couple of bitcoins and buy stuff.

A lot of quests are also just luck, I like to set Kappa as a goal despite only having just under 600hrs and being a full-time student just because I'm an over-achiever, and a lot of the quests I just brute-force run it down until I eventually get it done. Last wipe was my 3rd wipe and I really hit the quests the hardest I ever have, and I didn't even get close. I ended just over level 30 and in the middle of all of the lighthouse quests.
At 850 raids, playing 1-4 hours a day about 5 days/week, I'm 16 quests away from Kappa. You're spot on about everything. I would like to get it this wipe, but I highly doubt I'll attempt it ever again. I like doing quests but some of them are the opposite of fun.
The only case I see for Kappa is the challenge factor. It's forced me to play very challenging situations that I would otherwise avoid.
I got Kappa this wipe, just found myself 4 quests away from it. Took me 731 raids. It was surprisingly easy, the only challenging quest was Insomnia, because man is it difficult to find people to kill at night maps. If I went for it intentionally, I think I could've done it in like 400 raids, may be even less.

I started playing SPT, personal opinion - No more stress, anxiety and gear fear and AI PMC's are pretty decent with lots of behaviour customization and best thing -> NO CHEATERS!!!
Forcing me out of my comfort zone, I have to learn maps I normally wouldn't play at all because of quests and I think it's just making me a better player in every way.
I'm like 70(58 if excluding gunsmith) quests away from kappa with all the required items for collector in my stash, I really want to go for that but I think I started playing too late

I heard someone say you should be able to skip quests with trader rep and personally think this is a great idea ofc your gonna have to pay a pretty penny to skip but at least speeds stuff up ip
The quests in Gray Zone are SOO much easier to complete. Even with the much stronger enemy ai in Gray Zone.
Been playing since the customs expansion wipe. This is First wipe I got kappa. Questing gives the game purpose. I work 10 hrs a day and have a social life and go on vacations. If you enjoy questing go for it. I always avoided because of bolt actions but dvl was fun.
Somebody needs to make a video or guide of what quests are worth doing and where you can stop questing and what to do/ have fun with tarkov when you get there.

I've always just enjoyed tarkov for what it is so I play every wipe as if I'm getting kappa even though I usually don't. I just enjoy having a goal/mission and very rarely go into a raid without one. I'm defnitely getting kappa this wipe. 4 more insomnia kills and an evasion armband, and I get the big bum. This wipe has just been so enjoyable with the recoil changes, progession changes, ect that I've actually played most days consistently this entire wipe so far. Normally I take several breaks per wipe, but this wipe just hit different lol.
Kappa has always just taken so long so I’ve never attempted to even try so I feel like your right tbh, the three space I only cared for so I can fit two injector case and a sicc case with a grizzly which I prefer to use
I got Kappa my second wipe. I did not play 8-12hours a day. It took me 590 PMC raids and probably like 200-300 hours playtime. I just like having a goal when playing so Kappa is perfect for me. I made every raid and kill count and checked my quests

Congrats. I just can't be bothered to do the quests. I just find them not fun at all. He made a good point, because everyone I know who tries for Kappa tends to hate the game. I think it would be cool to have the quests be more randomized or alternative paths. Perhaps longer to get there etc.
The only thing i dont like is the all the sniping with boltys but ive gotten it a couple times now. It makes you a better player just go for it

Kappa Haver/ Light Keeper here: I work from home and have a lot of downtime. There is no way a student or a fulltime worker can achieve this. I have wasted so much time playing these absurd quests.

I'd say that lightkeeper is actually kinda doable since it needs much less annoying quests and the final questline to get to him actually feels a bit unique.
Ive played Tarkov since 2019 and have never achieved Kappa. As a husband, father and person with a career its not realistic within wipe constraints. I get max traders each wipe then just PVP my nuts off for a couple of months. I don't think it should be nerfed though, with the exception of reducing certain quest requirements (Setup should only be 10 kills). I enjoy the challenges of the kappa chase even if I cant reach it.
This was my first real wipe and I put in almost 600-700 hours into the game. I previously played back in 2019 and 2020 casually and never hit level 15 (because I hated the learning curve). I am very, VERY close to achieving Kappa. I only have Psycho Sniper, kill Glukhar, kill the Goons, and find the 2 LEDX's for Crisis. But I decided to give up because Gray Zone warfare came out and I just could not be bothered anymore with my time. SBIH took a lot of my time and was the bane of my existence for a long time (although I did eventually complete it). I know I could push for Kappa and complete the last 4 quests if I really want to, but I choose not to. I miss playing other games lol. I'll get Kappa one day, just not this wipe. I'll end at level 48 this wipe :)
Even though not that useful, I just like the goal of Kappa. Something to see and work towards and get rewarded for. They could reward me with a small can of tushonka but the point of achieving the goal is what i love

I did get kappa twice though (not recently) and then instantly stop playing. I feel like forcing me to have some structure and goofy challenges are what keep me playing. Even this wipe when I only played to lvl 32~33 and I come back at the very end I'm still playing Shooter Born and Setup just for the challenge or to get better at them.
I will say you are 100% correct and will add: by the time one has access to kappa, which is 48+ usually 50ish level, there is nothing you will put in it that you can't loose on that level just by money alone. I never got a kappa on pvp but I got it on PvE, and what did I put in those extra 3 slots: paracord on maps with red rebel extract, more ammo on most maps, and sometimes when you expect to spend a whole map in - food and water... If I got it in PvP I would maybe put a documents case next to my sicc case, but this still just leads to trying to get more money out of the map IF YOU DIE, which is silly at lvl 50+, you should have enough money to afford to die at that point. Kappa is literally trash in terms of functionality, if you have gamma you are all set my man..

I got Kappa on my first wipe, completed lighkeeper and just closed 100 killas last weekend. I did play 600 hours in 2 months though.

I think I've hit 700 hours in 3 months. I reset my account at 32 though since I didn't understand Fence and the karma system. I didn't understand why Scavs would say, "I'm a scav, bro!" So!? I wasn't aware of the rep system.
I am only getting Kappa on PvE, and that is because there is no wipes there (according to BSG), so I will eventually get Kappa.
I got max traders for the 1st time ever, and this is my 3rd wipe of serious gaming (in my standards, considering a job and a large family) 😂 Even this was so much grind for me that I will probably opt out from 2-3 next wipes.

@@iPodCharger69420 i believe TickleMePink ment its diminishing in use, and not mathematically. Like if u r survival rate is low, then u would be correct - doubling the safe space could mean u keep double the valuable loot u get to keep regardless. But it sounds like a whole other issue all together

Not sure why BSG is putting that many bolt-action kill into the quests, but i just never felt confortable to play the 1hit guns.

I feel like you saying skill is irrelevant for the kappa grind in Tarkov is copium. I work a 9 to 5 and I got kappa in less than 40 days (I don't remember exactly how many days it took)
It really isn't, tasking in Tarkov is simply not skill orientated. It is just a matter of how much time you want to invest doing silly tasks for traders.

I mean, its my first wipe, played 700 games this wipe, got kappa this week. I have social life, studying at university with good grades. Playing weekends and less than 2 hours a day you can get Kappa.
Got kappa 4 times without really going for it, I find once you have the dumb streamer bs all other stuff just kinda happens if you play full wipe and know what to keep. 3 items off kappa this wipe as it will be my last wipe on pvp as I expect the PVE to be my main for tarkov once they decide to stop being greedy and give it to EOD users in these "waves"

The biggest advantage of Kappa is that it teaches you how to do every single quest in the game. The vast majority of your xp will come from quests. Since high tier ammo and loot is locked behind quests and level, it is in your best interest to pursue something like Kappa that way you quickly level up and unlock high tier gear. “Playing the game normally” is actually a disservice and puts you in a hamster wheel where you’re constantly dying and buying in an endless cycle. With kappa, you have a clear progression goal and most of the quests required for kappa are needed to unlock high tier loot anyways.
youre better off just pursuing quests that unlock good items on traders/give said items to you over trying to complete everything. Theres multiple quests that are fucking annoying without giving any meaningful rewards minus xp and theres a good chance that doing normal raids will net you more xp/hour.
Large containers shouldn’t even exist.
Kappa in pve is a given you get infinite time.

Tbh this is why I buy every stupid edition they sell.... yea I know most people will hate me for that... but I have a really important day job and very limited spare time.... I need every bit of help I can get to make the game more playable. I was actually disappointed that Unheard didn't get a better box than Gamma... but I also think that the earnable one needs to be the best (Maybe unheard could have become 4x4 and the Kappa could have been upgraded to 5x5 or something crazy good like that).

Never went for Kappa. I never had the time to play the game in the way it requires you to play to get Kappa in any meaningful time. There's also a skill issue. I played this game on an antiquated toaster of a computer up until a year ago. I was never able to use scopes with magnification or engage in CQC without my frames dropping to single digits. It severely limited my EFT experience.
About a year ago I got a beast of a PC and can finally enjoy some frames with my Tarkov. After over five years at the game, this is the first wipe I was playing and having fun from the get go. That is, until real life dragged me away from it.
Picked it up again just before all the streamers and You Tubers threw a tantrum over the Unheard edition and have been having fun with it again. It's pointless to pursue Kappa unless you play with that in mind since wipe day.
Hell, I'm purposefully ignoring quests that are annoying and just having fun with the game instead.
I came back 7 months after watching having finally achieved the unachievable! Yes but is an easy event but for a filthy casual like me I will take the win! If it wasn't for this video I would never have done it!
