Miyeon is usually an excellent vocalist, and the entire G-Idle group often sings live. Honestly I was pretty surprised that that performance was rough, but keep in mind even Mariah Carey (one of the best pop singers of all time) as had some ROUGH performances, so no one is immune to having rough days. Singers are human beings who use their bodies to perform, so it's very normal that your body just gets too sick/tired/etc. to work some days. Highly recommend Miyeon's Christmas live session she did recently. If you want to hear how good she is normally/with practice, that's it.
Or her live Session in the Park! 😊 She is a really good singer, but that sets the Bar higher for her. She is really good on an constant level, so if she has one off day, people will notice pretty Quick. The fact she accept the critique and wants to improve is really cool of her
For real, tbf I think the song was out of Miyeon’s comfort zone (technique wise) reason why it didn’t sound as good as we expected. Nonetheless she dod great tho❤😊
she was always beyond kind one out there. that's why she's where she's right now. she has really cool fandom who appreciates that kind of stuff easily, so don't worry about that. it just isn't something new, she's been that person since many years.
I don't feel she needed to apologize for her performance, but wow, such a class act in response. I don't worry about her because her next performance will be amazing. Moving on.
The reason Jisoo signed with a newly created company affiliated with her brother's company seems obvious to me. It is to more closely keep the revenue and control within the family. Presumably, they have a good relationship and so Jisoo can trust her brother (i.e. not to financially irresponsible or to take advantage); which is a position she would not necessarily be able to have if she signed with another company. Similarly, if her brother has business experience (which he appears he has), this could be beneficial compared to Jisoo simply starting her own independent company as I don't think she has any experience with this yet. Instead, she will be in a position to learn this from her brother, while he is able to expand and diversify his company. Moreover, by having the company be affiliated with her brother's company which is outside of the industry, it also provides Jisoo a pathway for a career outside of entertainment should she decide to retire from it.
I find it ridiculous how people go against Miyeon when her singing ability is known, just because of a performance that maybe wasn't the best they can't knock her down, after there are a lot of fabulous performances from her and then they also have the audacity of being fans of bands that actually don't even know how to do their job.
A thousand good performances but oh no you better not have a mediocre one. netizens hold everyone to a high standard except themselves 99% of the time.
This is another reason why i hate k netz. They always hold this high standards for idols and act demeaning towards them if they make a mistake or do something small. This is why I prefer when idols do activities outside of Korea.
How is her singing ability know. We get to hear her live once in year that also with very less probability. Accept it nowadays idols are no longer singers they are just auto tuned and beautified monsters.
@anushkachakrabarty3952 If you aren't actively looking for her performances then that's a personal fault where you come short. She has had tons of live performances this year.
It’s crazy how quickly people switched up their responses after Miyeon apologized. Maybe they should have thought about their words before jumping to criticize her. I’m glad that she cleared the air on the situation, but she definitely didn’t deserve to get as much hate as she did.

Netizens are so ignorant. Miyeon did a great job considering how difficult that song is to sing and she didn’t cut corners by changing certain notes to suit her voice better. She just went for it. Wish more idols had the talent and courage to sing a difficult song live.
Miyeon absolutely slayed her performance. Even tho she was nervous she was still stable and nice sounding. Idk why ppl criticized her performance that much... She's such a sweetheart going as far to apologize. Shes so nice 🥺💖
I watched Miyeons performance after this video. It's pretty obvious she was uncomfortable. She's a good singer. Hopefully, she won't allow this to affect her too much.
For Kpop, Miyeon has a lovely, unique, deeper voice. I've heard her sing live many times and she has been uniformly excellent. Everyone can have a bad day, if indeed the performance was lacking.
You can't really call Anton a "Nepo baby" ... Dude's got talent and potential. I'd agree if he was talentless then just debuted. But nahh.. He has so much talent along with supportive parents. That's all.
I guess anyone can get called a “nepo baby” if all you have is famous parents but you can tell Anton is and was always hardworking, and I hope that more people see that he’s talented and is passionate abt what does
Technically he is a nepo baby and he’s not the only one when it comes to the entertainment industry in general. I think people’s only problem with nepo babies is if they’re clearly untalented. But if they show they’re hardworking then it’s fine.
I feel like some people easily forget how hard the idol life is. Miyeon is such a great vocalist and performer (check out her "someone like you" live cover with Minnie for example), and has so much talent. But performing almost every day and working and training all the time is so exhausting, not just for her, but for every idol in the industry. We are all humans, so is Miyeon. And that's why not every performance can work out perfect and 100% successful. As someone who likes and follows Miyeon for over 2 years now, i can say that this woman works so much and still has such a happy and beautiful personality, it's stunning. I don't understand why some people just hate on her skills, when most of them can't even do it better. Staying in the industry for years is hard and destructive, and Miyeon has my biggest respect for always being there for us Neverlands! 💜
The song Miyeon sang isn’t one she usually sings. Notice how she and Gidle have been performing nothing but Queencard during this entire award show season because they’re mostly busy preparing for their comeback this month. Remember how she only had one day to prepare for the IU cover collab stage with IVE? That’s probably how much time she had to practice this song. They also had to cancel a collab stage with LSF because they had no time to practice
It's sad that it's even news when someone has one bad performance. Everyone knows Miyeon is very talented and sings live beautifully very consistently. Everyone has off days - no need to apologize, you just have to look forward to doing better at the next one.
Look up Hwasa performing LMM at the same award show as Miyeon- it is a MASTERPIECE. She'd prepared something different but at the last minute she changed it to respect Lee Sun Kyun- it's also posted on that kocowa channel- and she killed it. It's SO moving, you won't be disappointed.
I just watched Miyeon's performance and genuinely I think the only reason she's getting criticism is because people have forgotten what live vocals sound like. She sounded a little bit nervous, but absolutely beautiful people don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
Netizens need to stfu. What is wrong with sharing the stage with your father? Anton has proven he can dance/ sing/ produce and play instruments. He doesn't need to ask for money from father. Anton chooses to have his father in the things he likes to do. Jisoo can do anything she puts her mind to. She trusts her brother to help her. Nothing wrong with family helping out. Miyeon was nervous and sang well. Netizens complain when idols don't sing live and when they do, you give harsh criticism. Miyeon didn't have to apologize but she did because she felt her voice tones was off pitch. Netizens are the one killing kpop. Idols are getting sick and tired of the harassment and stalkings of fans. Leave the idols alone, they are humans
It takes a big person to not only realize that they've made a mistake, but to also come out and publicly admit it. I was already a (g)i-dle stan (and Miyeon biased) but this genuinely makes me respect her even more.
Why are ppl so pressed over Anton preforming with his dad?? “He’s such a nepo baby” What is the boy supposed to do?? Disown his father💀?? These people are so bored istg
7:35 I am sorry but f*ck those people who were bashing her saying things like 'sHe'S a MaIn VoCaLiSt?????'. It doesn't matter how prepared and talented someone is when performing, nervousness is a normal thing and you shouldn't always expect idols to give their 100%. they are humans too and performing infront prestigious actors and actresses is nerve-wracking.
There is still no official statement from Jisoo about her solo activities, right? I hope she gets to do what she really wants. Will always be there to support her decision.
Idk why people act like antons talent such as dancing and vocals come from his parents. Those things are improved and acquired by practice and a lot of determination. He trained for years he was not an idol when he was born. Ppl are just salty and jealous.
These bitter people who are making a fuzz out of nothing about Anton and his dad’s performance seriously need psychiatric help. The dad and son performance was simply beautiful. It should be appreciated for what it is. Same thing with the Eunsok criticism. These pitiful and perhaps paid critics should just go get a life!
I think is save to say that Riize is the most hated group right now and for no reason. They make fun of Sohee for being "poor", they criticized Anton for the opposite calling him "nepo baby", they bashed Seunghan for having a LIFE, they laugh about Wonbin's height and now hate on Eunseok for his voice acting skills when this is his first time ever doing something like that... well i hate all of those people for being AH!!!
You can be a nepo baby and still be talented. The point is that there are trainees or other idols like him that will get no where near the privilege he has because of his parents.
I know Jisoo probably put in a lot of thought into it but to go into a label that's affiliated with a baby food company..? I just hope she READ HER CONTRACT because I really wanna see in her in more dramas and variety shows I really hope the best for her and that she properly prepared and did research. I also hope her brother makes her flourish and that he handles and treats her as a Idol not not he's sister good luck jisoo
Isn't recruiting more staff basic thing for a new label? Obviously they have some people bz jisoo is already booked for a drama and a movie with new endorsements from dyson and alo since cutting ties with yg so whoever they know what they are doing .plus even Jennie's agency were hiring for more staff. So basically they have enough people to start up new agency but will need more people to expand further
miyeon and gidle perform live pretty much all the time. this is kind of a rare case for her but none the less she has a whole catalog of proof for her amazing vocals
WTH, why do netizens feel so damn entitled to the personal and professional details and decisions of idols (and seemingly EVERYBODY ELSE). SO DAMN JUDGMENTAL, good lord! someone to distance himself from their father
If Jisoo wanted to start her own label, she would have had to hire all these people anyway. It's a bit weird for a label to be associated with a baby food company, but it's probably just for simplicity's sake. I.e. her brother has experience in running a business, and it's probably much easier to set up a label under a parent company. Most likely, Blissoo will operate independently, much the same that many other types of companies do when they're acquired by a larger brand. At most, she'd probably get their help with the administrative side of things--financial reporting, taxes, payroll, etc--which her brother is likely more familiar with.
lol i dont think anyone knows what nepotism actually means.... let the guy love his dad... Nepotism means his dad either FORCED people in the industry to accept him and give him opportunities or influenced him getting the opportunities. This guy obviously had to train and audition like everyone else. God forbid someone be interested in the same arts their parents are....

Idk I'm bias here but I don't think idols let alone "real" singers get to choose if they want to sing live or not on TV and on award shows nowadays. Other singers mess up as well but they don't get the unrealistic standards that idols get. It's so bad to the point where they're discouraged to bring out their vocals and a lot of the times forced to lip sync. Even our trainer Mammamoo queens were forced to lip sync or use a heavy back track.
I need you guys to stop saying that idols are acting unbothered. Of course they are bothered, if they weren't, then they wouldn't be replying to the messages. Unbothered LITERALLY means ignoring. 🙄
i definitely think na haeun is in SMNGG. she's been posting small hints on her story recently. i dont think SM would keep haeun a trainee for too long since they have had their eyes on her since she was a toddler. it's sad that she will most likely debut very young and going into an industry like kpop but i'm so glad she's under SM.
Miyeon's performance was definitely rough but I'm glad she acknowledged it and wants to do better. I thought it would be absolutely abysmal the way people were talking about it, but it wasn't nearly as bad as y'all were saying... I'd say it was okay/mediocre at best, subpar/underwhelming at worst. I love the girls from G-idle and I know they are well able to perform live with no problem without lip-sincking, but it is true that the majority of 4th and 5th gen idols now don't sing live during performaces.

Nonetheless she dod great tho❤😊
bro anton only had three public interactions with his dad yet the netizens went crazy!
I can't believe no one is talking about IU donating 1/2 million dollars 😭 she's crazy generous
She has always donated money and was always praised for it 😭 wym.
she was always beyond kind one out there. that's why she's where she's right now. she has really cool fandom who appreciates that kind of stuff easily, so don't worry about that. it just isn't something new, she's been that person since many years.
A lot of people do that, they just don't post about it on their social media platforms or boast about it
@@rubiirae I was gonna say that.
No doubt why she is considered as one of most respected idol ❤
Congratulations to jisoo 👏.
Good for Anton standing up for himself.
Anton is so sassy.. haha i love him!! He is very talented and he has already proved that.❤
I don't feel she needed to apologize for her performance, but wow, such a class act in response.
Well said
I find it ridiculous how people go against Miyeon when her singing ability is known, just because of a performance that maybe wasn't the best they can't knock her down, after there are a lot of fabulous performances from her and then they also have the audacity of being fans of bands that actually don't even know how to do their job.
A thousand good performances but oh no you better not have a mediocre one. netizens hold everyone to a high standard except themselves 99% of the time.
Clearly people wouldn't say a singular shit if she was a male lol pathetic a$$ kids nowadays
IU is so underrated overseas!! She deserves so much more recognition for her talent and kindness
IU is well known, her songs has lot of views. I won’t say she is underrated, she is one of the most known idols along with Blackpink, BTS and EXO.
@@vixxexo6855bye
IU is also not underrated in my country (PH). She is one of the most famous kpop solo artist here and can able to sold out concerts. 😊
It’s crazy how quickly people switched up their responses after Miyeon apologized. Maybe they should have thought about their words before jumping to criticize her. I’m glad that she cleared the air on the situation, but she definitely didn’t deserve to get as much hate as she did.
Oooh girl you went in on Miyeon…. She’s honestly such a talented vocalist and everyone is allowed to have a bad day at work.
This channel is a known idle hater
@@fzhz This channel always targets top groups except HYBE groups, lol. Like Namjoons issue with him sharing an islamaphobic song on IG or dream academy Samara racist tiktok videos exposed, even though they got so much backlash this channel never mentioned them. When its come to HYBE, they pretty much brush so many things off as much as possible. On the other hand they made full ass videos how Itzy and Nmixx fell off. Not just one time several times. Very similar for 5050. I think its very much possible that this channel has something to do with HYBE or they are just HYBE biased.
@@fzhz lol grow up
@@lastdance7991 my apologies, I didn't know that, thanks for explanation.
@@homeland1128 understandable, have a nice day❤
Netizens are so ignorant.
Shes so nice 🥺💖
you don’t know her.
@@aadr1h u don't know her too so stfu
She didn’t really
@@aadr1h why do I have to know her she's sweet for apologizing bru
@@vim2339 great that's your opinion 👏
I watched Miyeons performance after this video. It's pretty obvious she was uncomfortable. She's a good singer. Hopefully, she won't allow this to affect her too much.
For Kpop, Miyeon has a lovely, unique, deeper voice. I've heard her sing live many times and she has been uniformly excellent. Everyone can have a bad day, if indeed the performance was lacking.
Anton is so iconic for that 😭
Miyeon's standards is very high, I'm very proud for her 💗
You can't really call Anton a "Nepo baby" ...
He a nepo baby point blank.
it's just a neutral name, but people are painting it to be a negative image
Bu...but...regardless of how talented or not he is, he's still a nepo baby :)
RIIZE cannot get a damn break. I swear every time I blink RIIZE is being attacked/judged for something, dear lord leave these boys alone 😔
Girl, have you seen her sing with that guy?? She did a “cover” of Tomboy and damn, she sounds so good with him!!! Ugh 😍
Congratulations to Jisoo, this will be a very successful year for her in her own career, wish her all the best 💖
Look up Hwasa performing LMM at the same award show as Miyeon- it is a MASTERPIECE. She'd prepared something different but at the last minute she changed it to respect Lee Sun Kyun- it's also posted on that kocowa channel- and she killed it. It's SO moving, you won't be disappointed.
as anton should. idk why y’all can’t mind ur business sometimes 🙄
no one can diss my girl miyeon
I just watched Miyeon's performance and genuinely I think the only reason she's getting criticism is because people have forgotten what live vocals sound like. She sounded a little bit nervous, but absolutely beautiful people don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
congratulations Jisoo! And right before her birthday too.🥰
I love IU so much. She is such a sweet heart ❤️
Fr
Congratulations kim jisoo you will be always famous no matter what
That's Insane Jisoo is moving. 😮
Man, poor Miyeon, ppl are so… words can’t even express
People critising Miyeon obviously forgot what raw vocals sounded like 💀
Idk why people act like antons talent such as dancing and vocals come from his parents. Those things are improved and acquired by practice and a lot of determination. He trained for years he was not an idol when he was born. Ppl are just salty and jealous.
Anton ATE DOWN with his response 🤭🤭🤭
i have nothing but respect for people whow knows when they messed up and admit to it
We love you Miyeon!! ❤
Amazing Topics
congrats jisoo wish you the best
I think is save to say that Riize is the most hated group right now and for no reason. They make fun of Sohee for being "poor", they criticized Anton for the opposite calling him "nepo baby", they bashed Seunghan for having a LIFE, they laugh about Wonbin's height and now hate on Eunseok for his voice acting skills when this is his first time ever doing something like that... well i hate all of those people for being AH!!!
Miyeon is good singer pls don't hate gidle members i love gidle pls support him if you don't like gidle members just skip but don't hate him pls 🥺
You say nepo baby but i see a talented person 😌✨🧡
You can be a nepo baby and still be talented. The point is that there are trainees or other idols like him that will get no where near the privilege he has because of his parents.
@@Ley_dybug yea yea yea
Poor Miyeon, dont be too harsh. All of us has had bad days where everything seems to go wrong regardless of what we do about it.
👏👏 Jisoo. It made sense for BP to be having their own agencies.
I feel bad for Miyeon, people can be so cruel. Everyone can have an off day.
I NEED NA HAEUN TO DEBUT I LOVE HER SMMM SHE PREFORMED AT MELON MUSIC 2018 YALL CAN PROBABLY FIND IT
people talk like child of great artists cant dream about being an artist like everyone else.
are these people really telling him to stay away from his own father for the sake of public image????😭💀
Miyeon sounded good. This is fucking annoying
Miyeon is such a babe. It’s gonna be rough for the BP members who are starting their own agencies. Not as easy as it looks.
How surely not Jennie though
Glad for Jisoo❤
At least Miyeon sang live!
People should shut up, You can't do anything about your parents. You can't choose them.
Omggg i can't wait for the new gg from sm
If Jisoo wanted to start her own label, she would have had to hire all these people anyway. It's a bit weird for a label to be associated with a baby food company, but it's probably just for simplicity's sake. I.e. her brother has experience in running a business, and it's probably much easier to set up a label under a parent company. Most likely, Blissoo will operate independently, much the same that many other types of companies do when they're acquired by a larger brand. At most, she'd probably get their help with the administrative side of things--financial reporting, taxes, payroll, etc--which her brother is likely more familiar with.
Please I can't WAIT 😭..but oldest member is 04😀
Yeah the youngest Is 2008 she is going to be 15 this year(na haeun)
So she is 19 that’s not that bad
Good for Anton. He needs to do that since SM won't do it for him.
No I-DLE, no views, that’s always the way with KOOKIELIT 😭
Saying that the eldest member is from 2004 is actually f wild 💀💀💀
lol i dont think anyone knows what nepotism actually means.... let the guy love his dad... Nepotism means his dad either FORCED people in the industry to accept him and give him opportunities or influenced him getting the opportunities. This guy obviously had to train and audition like everyone else. God forbid someone be interested in the same arts their parents are....
So Miyeon's performance got removed? Im just curious bcuz i dont think its that bad....
Miyeon asked for it to be taken down because she herself was unhappy with her performance, in case anyone was wondering
@@CosmicallyBookish ooo thats so saad.... But thank you for answering!
@@LeeknowsEverythng You’re welcome! ☺️ Yes 😔 Especially since it really wasn’t that bad, people complaining are just exaggerating. She’s a talented singer who has proven her vocal ability multiple times
@@CosmicallyBookish yeeees! Im sure she was better than most of those people who was hating her...
I love how he acknowledges he is a nepotism baby, and it was obviously easier for him to debut . This is not to bash him since he has the talent to make up for being a idol. I just hate the double standards w other ‘ nepo ‘ babies when they’re not.
Poor Miyeon 😭💔💔💔
I need you guys to stop saying that idols are acting unbothered. Of course they are bothered, if they weren't, then they wouldn't be replying to the messages. Unbothered LITERALLY means ignoring. 🙄
So now idols aren't allowed to do things with their parents either?.. You see a celebrity but to Anton it's just his dad
I’m worried about Jisoo situation. There are a couple of cases where family management lead to really bad situations.
i definitely think na haeun is in SMNGG. she's been posting small hints on her story recently. i dont think SM would keep haeun a trainee for too long since they have had their eyes on her since she was a toddler. it's sad that she will most likely debut very young and going into an industry like kpop but i'm so glad she's under SM.
She’s 100% debuting
Miyeon's performance was definitely rough but I'm glad she acknowledged it and wants to do better. I thought it would be absolutely abysmal the way people were talking about it, but it wasn't nearly as bad as y'all were saying... I'd say it was okay/mediocre at best, subpar/underwhelming at worst. She was just pitchy and super nervous, I feel bad for her omg
I like how Blissoo rhymes with Jisoo 😌
Go go go CEO JISOO. Proud of Jisoo.
So.... Forget international agencies but even the local Korean agencies didn't offer to sign with jisoo ????
Slightly unrelated but Jisoo and Miyeon sound similar
Meanwhile 2nd Gen idols have alway performed and still perform live without lip-sinck, while dancing and while not dancing.
I love the girls from G-idle and I know they are well able to perform live with no problem without lip-sincking, but it is true that the majority of 4th and 5th gen idols now don't sing live during performaces.
bro comparing miyeon to wedding dress jyp is a joke 💀
Miyeon’s tone was just off. She sang at a way higher pitch than the song called for. It wasn’t that she’s a bad singer. It probably really was just nerves.
Agreed on the live singing, back in the day you HAD to sing live, now everything is spoonfed for idols
