My best friend in the whole world just died and I swear this song was written for him. Made me think of him before he died and now it’s helping me mourn. RIP Dash

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm reaching out to you because the same thing happened to my best friend. When we were both 26. Im 40 now. So strange how fast you're life passes you by. We were inseparable since tge 1st grade and i remwmber tginking at times how paimful and horrible ot would be of one of us dies. Unfortunatelyhe did, trying to get clean from Opiates but relapsed or maybe the whole sobriety and reality thing got to be too hard and he committed suicide. Myself and his family dont know now, and never will know the truth. It brings me to tears to this day but it's so strange that I don't even think about him very often anymore. I just realized as I write this just how little I can bring myself to think about those times before. Amd also. It because it hurts and because the day to day, the world, and myself have changed so much. So it does get better but even that is tainted by guilt for not hurting like it should anymore. even for that.
Again. I'm sorry For your loss sometimes it helps just to know that you're not the only one.
