Max is amazing live too. Seen him twice, once in manchester supporting Marlon Williams at night & day cafe, then again at leeds brudenel playing a solo show with full band. Incredibly nice guy, was talking to him after the show about how great Neil Young's music is.
He sounds like a mixture of John Lennon and the Everly Brothers.
