Our niece recommended the Loungin Lizard as a great place to eat in Cortez. We stayed in the NP campground. Lots of wildlife. The 10 FHU sites are easy to access. Generator people are a pain. Thanks for sharing your visit.

The cats can be found all through out Colorado there are some in Mancos, Cortez, Dolores, Durango, Montrose, Delta, Pueblo, basically all the way up through Denver ! We take pictures with them every time we find them.

Wow, Mcfee has shrunk! I used to live in the area in the mid '90's and visit the reservoir almost every weekend. I miss the awesome mountain biking up at Boggy Draw from Dolores ❤

We have stayed in Cortez I think 3 times now and have always enjoyed our stays. And the Lounge Lizard, oh yes, in our top two in town I think. And Durango, another spot we love. Thanks for the tour.

We just love your videos! We find so much good info in them. We camp some of the same places you do after you show us what the campground is like. We have to go back to some of the places again because after watching your videos we discovered we missed things. We hope we run into you both out on the road. Happy travels, from Laurie and Rick

First time watching your video. You all are so warm and friendly and genuinely interested in the area you’re visiting and that’s refreshing. I lived in Colorado for 30 years until moving to the North Carolina coast 2 1/2 years ago. I have never been to Cortez I’m thinking I must’ve gone through it to go to Mesa Verde, I am thinking of wintering in Arizona Phoenix or Tucson area open. I need to find somewhere to spend the summers that isn’t so hot. I don’t have an RV I stay at a park model phone and a very nice RV resort. Just started researching all this, but Cortez keeps coming up as an area to possibly spend the summers. It must have grown a lot because it used to be just super small and pretty much unheard of. Thanks for the information and enjoy your travels.
