You are one of the few teachers on YT and artists I’ve known to use oil painting methods in watercolour - starting with dark and moving on to light, using varied colour washes from the beginning etc. I absolutely love this method (thought it can be hard to master in watercolour) and am glad to have come across such a talented painter and teacher as yourself who inspires. Thank you for the videos .
@@ChaYeonPainter88 This is true. Amazing. First time I saw wc moving dark to light - laying darks first. Really great video.
The ability to darken the watercolor portrait without using colored pencils is great
this is absolutely amazing...
i love how the brushstrokes stay visible but still look smooth as a whole :)
Nice work,especially around the eyes.
very good
멋지네요~
I like this video . well done
Love the close ups. Thank you very nice work.
Lovely and insightful. Thank you!
How do you decide what color to put down as a base? Like, in this video you use purple, and in some others you use green and blue?
ChaYeon Drawing oooo okay, thanks so much!!
Is it a must to paint it that way?
K no, you can use your own techniques if this one doesnt suit your needs.
I think it dependes the skin colour
It’s mainly the complimentary colour that is used as base
Beautiful portrait! Loved watching how you paint, very inspiring!
Superb performance
amazing as usual.
Wow! That’s beautiful! Now I learned another lesson from your technique. ☺️💕👍🏻
Thanks for sharing.🙏🏻
☺️💕🙏🏻
Excelent.... thank you
Bravo! Süper!
Wow! i was looking for a skin tutorial! You are awesome! I can see the steps in your video. That is so useful to me.
Interesting
Great work
Thank you 🥰
Just delicious. :-)
unbele!!
Lindo trabalho....
obrigada.
actually u should show us the reference picture as well so that we can learn about the tones and values while adding colors.
level 1, that's me.
I love this! May i know what watercolor and brush did you use to paint this? Thanks
Great Video. It would be useful to know what colours were going onto the painting as they happen. That would be a good learning tool.
This was good to watch, you did a great job on it, but it wasnt exactly a tutorial... more of a time lapse. Liked anyway. Thank you
What colour did you use for her skin tone?did you mix colours?btw its fantastic!
Do you let the layers dry completely before coming back over them?
Wonderful!what size is the canvas?
Love this! What brush do you use for the detailed hair?
Thank you!
What is the brush size? Do you use same size for the fine details?
hi ur work is incredible please can u mention colors used and thank you so much
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Do you ever let the layers dry? if yes how much time?
I drew this painting while drying the water. And I think I drew it for about 3 hours. Thank you.
Hi dear can you say what colors you used?pls
Where is the reference source? I'd like to paint with you as to learn watercolor portraits better.
From where did you get the reference photo
Great work
Real time video please
Awesome! what kind of paper are you using here?
ChaYeon Painter thanks!!!
Helpful if there was some commentary as to materials, paints and thinking. There was no instruction.
Cheyon
Fantastic art
You are amazing. I am finally beginning to realize Water is good. now which colors do you mix to achieve the overall flesh tone?
I suggest yellow ochre and quin red but you can use any yellow with any red and if it looks un natural then add a tad bit of blue
like Steven Aloisi said, this is NOT a tutorial. A tutorial should include showing the palette and how the colors are mixed and a guide to the effects created with each layer. PLEASE tag this video as time lapse NOT a tutorial
I cant even sketch a face ight-
thats always the hardest part of the portrait painting
@@huyle2057 lfmao. I actually sketched a decent one but Im scared to mess it up lol.
僵硬
you are using your brush like a pencil that's why the painting has no watercolours impact .
