- More progress on Dreamworld's NEW Roller Coaster Ride and more! Dreamworld is a Theme Park / Amusement Park located on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia! Join us as visit the park for a short, Rivertown focused update like lots of new exciting developments!
We check out progress on Jungle Rush, Dreamworld's upcoming NEW Roller Coaster, which includes work on its large temple structure, and new Roller Coaster appearing in the Dreamworld Car Park! We also check out progress on the transformation of the Billabong Restaurant into the brand Rivertown Restaurant, which lots of work now happening inside the building. There's also some news regarding Motocoaster, with its entrance being no more!
Rivertown is Dreamworlds upcoming 2024 land which is replacing the old Wiggles World / ABC Kids World area. This new themed land will open late 2024 with a large new AU $35 million dollar Vekoma family thrill Roller Coaster called Jungle Rush, and an updated version of the Vintage Cars called Murrissippi Motors!

00:57 WTF, someone had a bit too much fun on their break 😂. Amazing update as usual, great to see the progress of Jungle Rush. Very interesting that they did not construct the track first before the exterior of the temple, should be fun to watch them install it.

SO EXCITED FOR THISSSSS AHHHHHHH, Motor coaster should be rethemed into a "Escape The Jungle" type ride makes sense for it with the launch. Bikes can be rethemed to jungle like offroad motorbikes (And more comfortable) Maybe some theming around it aswell?

I was a little disappointed that the Steel Taipan theming was a fraction of what was implied on the concept artwork, but of course they can revisit putting a bit more in later and I hope they do.
But they are clearly going all out with JR from the get-go. It’s gunna be awesome!
Yeah, shame about ST's theming, but Rivertown looks like it could reach those high theming standards, which is super exciting!
We need Disneyland to show these parks how a theme park should be!

Also just curious, how do you know what has changed in parks? Do you just keep track, or do you have a source which tells you what changed and you go and film it?
Mixture! Some things me and my friends find out whilst visiting, others are from social media, forums, etc. The forums on Parkz are a great news source for Gold Coast Theme Park updates

Same here, which is worrying me a bit...I don't want to overhype it and end up disappointed haha
Honestly, just turf Motocoaster out it uncomfortable with no excitement, and the theming doesn't fit in. Would be good to have another coaster, maybe continue the jungle theming in an expanded precinct
I'd personally retheme it and install new trains - so much they could do!
Im so excited for these new lands to open! By the time my birthday rolls around and i head to the gold coast, all of them should (hopefully) be open!
