@@INFPeace-I know what you mean. I only keep my bestie on my friend list since I know him irl. I also tend to say really dark stuff to people if I feel comfortable talking to them, so it's more to protect others from me.
I use furina usually in pneuma and ousia mode both... (pneuma when hp is low, and ousia when I need to attack)...But sometimes in coop, there are particular phases such as the All Devouring Narwal Phase 2 or Arlecchino which many players have trouble in, so its best to use heal mode there and when there are no such bqrriers, using furina in attack mode is good (I actually have a healing set on furina, but she still hits 10-20k which is pretty decent for the artifacts I gave her❤)

C6’ed her yesterday and got her signature weapon. Took exactly 780 wishes for c6 r1 . Lost 3 50/50’s and won the rest. Weapon banner I got so lucky and got Furina and Sigwinne weapon on my 50th pull. She’s pretty op at c6 but I wouldn’t say she’s the strongest 5 star. If anything she adds value to your team comp. I don’t think you need c6 but it does free up a slot a healer would have taken up. All in all she’s my favorite character and the only character I invested in c6 and taking her all the way.
Furina's healing mode is so good that she can tank everything. Mine can heal like 5k-6k as well as can do damage up to 60k. Thats C0 btw. So Im fulling for her today to get her constillation. Wish me luck!!
5-6k is not impressive whwn it takes forever to healm not to mention no dps, no energy, no hydro application.. you arent doing anything as healer.

I don’t usually play co-op but the way I play my Furina is to have her in heal mode when hp is half gone and then switch back to damage mode when hp is full. That’s how I would play her in co-op. Not letting the hp get too low by not letting it go below half hp but also trying to get some damage in. Hopefully no one should die that way. I don’t play co-op though. So the way I play her is with Charlotte so technically I wouldn’t need to switch to heal mode in single player but Charlotte’s heal is from burst. I need to save that up for Furina’s burst so I can’t always use it when hp is low. So sometimes I switch to heal mode Furina even in single player.
To me it depends on the team. With Furina you need to be adaptable even more so.
Your team during this scenario was great so Furina should've attacked more, which is why I agree with the Nahida player.
If the team was struggling, then playing safe with healer mode would be fine

To be honest, only the knave force me on full healer time. Other swapping mod when hp is low (healer) and attacker (full hp)
If you cant have healing uptime against the knave somehow then your actual healer isn't properly built..
as a furina user, i know how rare it is for a furina to heal. i often heal myself. in fact in most of the coop teams i join, that's what i plan doing, but players tend to forget furina can heal and pick a healer (and sometimes, not a good one).
i don't mind it tough. most kokomi i meet heal so much that even with furina's 3 pals, she manage to keep the whole team full health. meanwhile, the other day, vs the knave, a baizhu scold me, saying things like "we don't need your healing". sure... seconds after my furina stopped healing, yanfei got killed, but ... ok, baizhu. if you say so...
furina is mostly known as a great support/off-fiel dps, but she's also an incredible healer. apart from one shot attacks, even without using a healing artefact set, my furina can face tank any attack. vs azdaha, having me in the team, healing with her, the team is pretty much invicible. the only ones getting killed are the archers who stay at the edge of the map.
when her banner arrive, i think anyone who don't already have her will feel sorry for picking sigewinne over her. great for exploration because waterwalking, healing so much she renders shield useless, great support, great off field dps and the nail in the coffin: she's the only char with access to both pneuma and ousia, which can prove useful, both while exploring in fontaine and while in the spiral abyss (and vs the narwhal). in comparison, sigewhine is pretty much useless, her only use for those having furina being to give hydro resonance, but of course, there would be far better choice then her among the hydro characters, if she's taken only for that. kokomi, yelan, xinquiu, nilou, etc.
sigewinne may not be useless, but all she do, furina is better at and does even more. the only players i can see pulling for sigewinne instead of furina are those wanting every char, the youtubers doing guides or watever else on characters, those taking her solely for personal preference reasons (personality, looks, etc.) and the new players who won't know the mistake they would do. maybe the whales as well, but they could fit in the other categories i've already mentionned.
furina may not be an archon, but she is a godess among humanity, compared to the other vision users (actualy, compared to lord barbatos, i'd say she's a stronger char).

If the yanfei died to 1 attack then that was on the yanfei for being reckless. Not you or the baizhu. But the baizhu is right. If yiu already have a healer in the party you dont need furina heal mode except for downtime or emergencies.
@@nobody-xh6ii nah... yanfei got killed in 2 hits. would she have received just 1 tick of healing from my furina, she would have survived the 2nd hit and could then have been brought back to full health in 1 or 2 seconds.

No, these kind of furinas wont attack. Even with my c2r1 baizhu a furina literally made a dungeon run go from 30 seconds to 3 minutes because she refused to go dps mode.

Wait? You all find furina healer rare? Why when i do coop i always find this kind of furina 😅? Sometimes it become boring when you just stand around in healing mode and doing nothing. When I found Furina which could use two modes with the right timing at the same time it actually required great skill because using 2 modes with the right timing is not easy
As a Furina main, I’ve always met Furina haters in co-op (especially korean and i dont know why…) and the funny thing was they were literally one-shotted by the bosses with their full hp when the fight just started for 5 seconds and they blame that to Furina 😭

@@nobody-xh6ii I haven't ever seen on my life which damage is at 60k...my furina will just do 4k , 3k , and 8k-9k.(as you said my furina will do just 30k barely🤧(with 30k hp and got pyro dmg bonus circlet cuz I haven't got better one))
Honestly, against the Knave, this Furina is a godsend. You think you're sitting pretty with full HP, but Father will quickly change that and oneshot you in the blink of an eye, esp when you think you're not drawing her aggro. 😂💀

You don't need to get energy, this team has Raiden. And even without her, you don't need to make particles, the team already does it for you in co op. Furina's er needs account her getting all her particles from off field, this one is getting them all on field. There's a difference.
Furina under healing mode is one of the most comfortable to have during an Arlecchino boss fight. Especially since this boss can one shot you and Furina's attack mode brings you and your teammates down to half hp.
It's hardly any different than playing a dedicated healer that can coincidentally help attack if the team ever dies (which it likely won't given how good furina is at her job)
@nobody-xh6ii this would be applicable to any other boss fight where you can comfortably dodge and not run the risk of getting one shotted in an instant.
Arlecchino is not that type of fight. How many runs have we seen from Mr Chen where a character just gets offed like that even when having full HP in this fight? Having a constant healer on hand, esp when there are other DPSes that need to engage in close combat (and increasing their risk of dying) is extremely helpful. Even more important since Furina can make your risk of dying higher with her HP drain mechanic.
One can fight without worrying too much about their health and dying, or burning through their food to survive.
And how is she not buffing the team? Did we not see her use her ult over and over again? Just as @Quinton_ovo_ said, with the other characters, Furina doesn't have to worry about gaining energy herself because the team will gain it for her, ESP Raiden, the best ER character in the game thus far.
And her not DPSing properly or doing damage is the entire point - she's not focused on doing that. She's focused on HEALING the entire team. Making sure the team gets through the boss fight ALIVE. That's how teamwork operates.
How you getting upset because a player has decided to focus on the survivability of the team against such a difficult boss rather than doing damage numbers? 😂💀
