@@black-swordsman1090 the targeting was terrible. But largely seems to be how in the main games you build your gunpla and take it in. However in New Breaker you build your gunpla and as you take damage your parts fall off so you swap out with parts from enemies. Kind of making the time to build your own worthless. Also the third game is fantastic I believe you can get an English copy for fairly cheap.

I just saw on Twitter that the game will also have a full English Dub in the game. That got me extremely hyped, since I hope that the English Cast are legacy from previous Series like Brad Swaile, Matt Hill and others, but that’s me being optimistic
not so fast, with GB3 and GBM had frick all to do with the usual series, they're probably gonna be like using ibo, unicorn, origins, build divers, and cucuruz doan's island dub casts at best
I really don't care about the poses and dioramas, my main concern is the game play and customization. Are you going to be able to build anything we want like that Dr. Eggman gunpla they showed in the video or is it just simple switching of limbs and torsos? I really hope the game won't Suck like New Gundam Breakers! That game play was terrible, you couldn't use most of the gundam special attacks right away, you had to defeat a certain amount of enemies before you could and by the time you are finally able to use your special attacks the mission was over.
we don't discuss NGB here 😋. This is more like GB2 so far since it had locked attributes to parts. GB3 had attributes you merged to create your own builds like say Aerial attack, Increase EX on hit, Step Distance (Dodge/ Evade), Durability (HP), Avoid Instant Death (left with 1 HP instead of instantly exploding), Induce stagger etc. and you could merge parts to have all of these on your build regardless what the parts started off with. NGB took from GB2 in that stats were fixed and skills but made it worse by forcing you to collect parts on the fly if yours were broken. GB1-3 you lost use of certain EX skills or Optional equipment, but a red beam dragged it back to you and reattached it after a couple of seconds though healing energy drops or skills from any teammate would instantly reattach those lost pieces - NGB annoyed so many by abandoning this staple mechanic
I love the fact that you can use 2 different arms. I just wish you could switch shoulder pads on the arm. But hopefully they had alot of buildfight gundams
@@rip9052 The menus in the dev stream show four slots for weapons, two for melee and two for ranged. Nothing is said about having to pick between two ranged OR two melee OR one ranged and one melee.

look up Gundam Build Fighters anime. There were some shorts for Gundam Breaker but Build Fighters is pretty much the base plot. Summary- You are a faceless character who loves Gunpla. GB3 you were playing at an arcade and Mina asked you to join her team. It gets random from there but that was the core plot. New Gundam Breaker, terrible game but... saw you as a student at an academy focused around Gunpla. When the previous Student Council lost, they were ousted and a new more vicious team rule. You join your childhood friend to take back the academy and defeat the current Student Council in battle. Plot and story weren't really a big focus on the predecessors it was hugely popular for the concept- start with RX-78, smash up enemies, collect their parts and create your own unique mobile suit. GB1 and 2 were NGB in that parts had set values and abilities and no variation. Liked that cool rifle shot? Only that specfic gun had it. Enter GB3 still seen as the goated member of the family. GB3 has attributes that are universal, applied by Merging the parts. Take Increase EX on attack. You merge it to the part you like best, then use the second merge option and now you increase the value of that attribute. Still some optional weapons like the G-Self Chest built in dual sabers as example. You cannot get their attack if not using that part with that optional set up in the last panel. I'm sorry I was one advisor for people on GameFAQs for GB3 heh so ask me anytime but so far GB4 looks at least basic part like GB3 I kinda hope we get it's attribute system but perhaps can learn I guess? Things like G-Self Body style for dual sabers, that's my only hope

Colorable beams
@gdash1996 okay that would actually be incredible, blue magnum shot or something like that
Dark Red or Black Buster rifle beam? The edge
If the DLC is anything like GB3, it should be around
- 3-4 missions
- 2-3 new suits + builder parts
per DLC

They mention Breaker Parts in the trailer - those were pretty significant for being able to do wacky builds like the EggGuy in past games
