As a Buckeye fan I think this is great. Three biggest reasons: 1) Underwood the #1 overall will likely, at some point, go against the #2 St Clair who is going to OSU 2) everyone can quit talking about “bought, not developed.” This is the new state of college ball. Get with it or get left behind, and Michigan seems to be getting with it. 3) should make the rivalry continue to be competitive
@@quinnyellstrom719 You may be THE most reasonable Buckeye fan in America. You guys have a great team this year and it is nice to see that we have a rivalry again, not just a tradition.
@@andrewallison376hey, to be fair, it takes me about 24 hours to regain my senses after we lose to you guys lol. But thanks brotha, more top 5 matchups between us is good for all of football.
Insane flip, the dominoes will start to fall I’m sure. People will point to NIL and it’s obvious at this point but all schools that have the pockets do it now. Personally, I like it when hometown kids stay home. Getting to play in front of your family is amazing (yes I understand it’s unique circumstances lol). Hopefully Michigan‘s staff will get revamped and properly develop him.
As noted before he’s sure to be a recruiting MAGNET for offensive players, namely WRs and O-linemen! Welcome to the UM, Bryce. Remember, those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!!! Go Blue 💪💪💪
@ Thanks man, but we’re alright. We got Husan Longstreet who flipped from Texas A&M. Right before Juju decommited. I don’t think we’re dipping in the portal for a QB at this point.
One thing I haven’t seen much people talk about: Bryce Underwood and Tavien St. Clair. Both local kids from Michigan and Ohio staying home. This is why college football is so special
@@Jerry823Coates Both of these kids are the number 1 & 2 QBs in the country according to 247 and they both committed to their hometown schools. I understand most of Ohio St’s roster is from Florida and Texas just like a lot of Michigan’s roster is from Ohio, Texas, and other parts of the country. But this is the first time in this rivalry where both star QBs are actually from Michigan and Ohio and are both 5 star QBs, and ranked 1 & 2 in the country at that. And specifically for QB because if they both pan out, any time they play each other it’ll mean more because they play QB and would be the leaders of their team. And ESPN + other networks will be the first ones to talk about where they came from. That’s all brother, God bless
HAIL YEAH!!! It's about time that we finally flip a major BIG TIME RECRUIT PLAYER TO COME BACK HERE AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN CONTINUE TO KEEP ON DOING IT AND RECRUIT MEADOWS AS WELL!!! We need to start opening up the NIL DEALS because we're way behind on all of the other BIG TIME SCHOOLS. I also loved on how we were able to recruit his teammate which is really good and hopefully more will follow suit! WAY TO GO BLUE 💛💙〽️
Congratulations to Michigan from an Alabama fan! College Football has become much more intriguing and exciting across the board due to the talent distribution being spread out more evenly.
So happy for Coach Moore and his staff. Maybe this will shut up the meathead portion of our fan base. Good choice, Bryce! You have chosen well. My ND friends are texting me, as they are happy to see Brian Kelly take two L’s in a week!
@@rocboysfootballlol. Would not be surprised to see this thing blow up. And bust Gary, was pretty much a bust and was a number one recruit. 17 year old making big decisions, good luck with that. People got a lot of money to gamble or throw around. Seems shameful to me.
Can’t wait to see Underwood and St Clair battle it out in the GAME I wish he would of competed in Elite 11 that still bothers me I mean that’s the Big Stage to prove your talent 🧐
You still get a legit QB in the transfer portal without a doubt. Injuries happen and you need a good strong veteran presence to push Jadyn Davis and now Underwood.
Congrats. Great get. The one things that brings up some concern guy be with this news for me, is will they be expecting to start him at QB as a true freshman? High school to college at QB is a really steep ask.... No matter how good you are in high school. If they don't ask a lot of him... He might be alright.... But he may be a liability sometimes as well, whenever they're in a position where they need to store the ball, Rather than just putting out throwing play here or there on their own terms. .
To me I think they will like him to start right away. I normally like to see QBs sit a year and develop, but I think Bryce has all the tools to start right away. Like you said, I think there will be some growing pains, but ideally they can build a real good offense around him to take some pressure off of him
At least we can stop hearing about how OSU spent $18 Million. These rosters will be over $50 million in 5 or 6 years. Next year top QB will ask for at least $10 mil if not $11 mil.
Won’t work unless there’s a true #1 receiver coming in. Recruit or transfer. And an OC who can draw up routes that create separation. Can still run it hard but bring in more talent !
