Ingredients: 1 cucumber
1 garlic clove
1 green onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
drizzle of sesame oil

This salad is fantastic! I've made it 3 times since finding it 2 weeks ago. Instead of the green onion, I use thinly sliced red onions because I favor them. Instead of sugar, I use stevia powder. It's amazing!
If you like red onions search for a Peruvian pickled red onion recipe. It’s called salsa criollo, incredible taste!

This cucumber salad dish is very simple to make and very tasty and enjoyable to eat. It’s one of my favourite Salad dish to make. If you find it a bit too spicy to your liking, you can always add less chilli flakes until you hit that sweet spot. I like mine full of flavour so I add a bit more of everything 👍

Thank you for your recipe which is delicious. One difference : I prefer to rince the cucumber after the 10 minutes with salt. Otherwise, for me, it is too salty.
Although I substituted the sugar with agave nectar since I’m trying to cut back on sugar the dressing was really delicious!!!

I just made this and all I can say is 👌🏿 however I didn’t use the spring onion but the used Red Onion and it still came out beautiful coz I loved the taste.
When the sizzling hot oil landed on the ingredients, my kitchen just smelled heavenly,especially when I added the Soya Sauce👌🏿👌🏿 next time I’m gonna use the Spring Onion and add Ginger,just to mess around with the taste.
