Excellent explanation and examples. I greatly appreciate your reference and guide back to your previous lessons regarding locative case. This approach helps to show how important case is in Ukrainian. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your clear explanation!! And don’t pay attention to comments about your accent. A foreign accent is a sign of bravery and knowledge 😊
Thanks Ina. Love your content! Been doing Duolingo for nearly a month now and really fallen in love with this evocative language, already finding myself being able to understand some written words on TH-cam etc. I'm probably not the first to say this, but we don't say "on May" in English (or Swedish, I forget what they do in German and French) - it's "in" for months and years, "on" for days and dates. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling right now. If I remember correctly, Херсон is your home town? The москали really went beyond all boundaries this time. The international community really has to put its foot down. I hope with your help to learn enough to be able to meet Ukrainian refugees and diaspora who live nearby and help out in some small way. I hope your friends and loved ones make it out and live to fight back. Love and best wishes from 🇸🇪💙💛🇺🇦 (Слава Україні)
Hi Inna, Just for your information, we also say 'in May', 'in July', etc and not on May, etc. Also why do you say в кімнаті for in the room and на кухні for in the kitchen? This has always puzzled me. Many Thanks Nick
Yes, you are right about the months. I mixed them with the days of the week. 🤦🏻♀️ In Ukrainian language, you can say “в кухні” or “на кухні”. Both variants are correct. It's just our language tradition to use more preposition “на” here. Also the word «кухня» has different meanings in Ukrainian like kitchen, cuisine, cookery, etc.
I love you, for teaching this ❤🎉 я люблю тебе (ви) вікладачка/вічітелка so usefull for my basic, i am from India I was in Sumy where are you from please??
Thanks Inna, great lesson, but I'm still a bit confused....do you not say вдому,meaning at home ? Also на машині,meaning by car,as in,to travel by car,by bus,на автобусі ? They are not prepositions of place or time,I know(except вдому), but further meanings of на and в. Also,Я в Австралія,meaning I'm from Australia.....You have clarified some elements, but are there not yet more meanings of У,В,and На ?.....🙄😘
Hi, you were talking about locative case, but in your Master Ukrainian cases, you don't list locative case in the table of contents. What is this called in your booklet? Thanks

In American Standard English, we also use the preposition "in" with months. "On the first Monday in May..."

How would you say "at the table"? For example, "We sit at the table when we eat."
Hello Inna what letters or words do you use to form sentences for example tomorrow i will go to the station to buy a ticket to Kiev love all your videos
Привіт
Здоров
Why is на used for meals like in “на сніданок”
In English we say In May not On May, just to be confusing :)
Also "in the middle of the week, we will go camping 🏕 ".
Доброго ранку! Як справи? Мене звуть Мирослав, французька сербонімецького походження, і я вивчаю українську мову!
We say: in 2022, in summer, in November, in a month or two, in a minute, ect ... Now, i don't understand why we don't say in Monday..
How to say " in polish, in ukrainian, in russian " in ukrainian?
Wanna be confused?
"Зустріч перенесено на понеділок"
🤭🤭🤭🤭
а я не привит, и не заболел
Can you do a video on demonstrative pronouns? e.g. це цей ца то той та
Im not see for study
Is this english?
I don't know dear
