After a hard day's work whenever I see your video it is not only soothing to mind but it gives immense pleasure to my soul. What fantastic video content you are creating in Transit Journey. Please continue your good work. All the best. 👍
Lovely second part of your Hokkaido trip! Back when I was a little boy in my “train phase”, my grandpa would take me on steam train rides just like the one in this video. He also subscribed to a monthly train magazine for me - I hated it when the main topic was about foreign trains. They looked strange and unfamiliar to me, haha. Nowadays it’s very much the opposite. I’d love to visit Hokkaido among many other places in Japan and I’d love to ride all kinds of new and old trains to get around. Funny how things change.
Thank you for always. I'm planning to one more Hokkaido journey, so please look forward to it. Right, our favorites will change as we grow older. I didn't like steam trains and retro cars when I was a kid, but now I love them!
Whoa, this is amazing! The Steam Locomotive on snowy day... I don't think i could handle the cold weather. 🥶 And there are also many train photographer, i hope they are satisfied with their photos since it was so cold outside i guess 😂 Anyway, i enjoyed this video so much! Thanks for your hardwork, and now i will wait for your next Train Journey. 💪🙌
Thank you for always watching! I think the photographers are holding up very well despite the sub-zero temperatures. But I'm sure they won't feel the cold if they like it.
Thank you for asking. Prices depend on season and time of purchase. Summer is expensive, but winter is relatively cheap. Mine was around 18000JPY (130USD). The fare to Kushiro Station is 950JPY (7USD). It takes about two and a half hours including bus ride.
@@transitjourney That's what I meant when I suggested B-roll - video taken on another occasion. I have to confess that I did NOT spot the weather differences. I still enjoyed your day out.
Steam train rides in winter. a little bit of heaven.

Thank you. Yes, I was lucky to see the cranes!
Awesome video. Traveling through Japan with you is wonderful. I hope to see it all with my own eyes someday.
PS I'm so glad you caught the train! 😄
Thank you for always watching! I hope one day you will visit Japan and take these trains.

So quiet and relaxing -- makes me want to go to Hokkaido!
Thank you. I would be happy if as many of you all as possible would visit Hokkaido.
The aesthetics 👌👌✨
Thank you!
きれいな電車^ ^
ありがとうございます!
Hi TJ. The SL train and the snow covered forest that you walked in are very Kimetsu no Yaiba kinda feeling. Thank for sharing! 😍
Thank you for always. As you say, it reminds me of Mugen Train from Kimetsu!
no voice nor music, yet the commentary is very lively❤.
Thank you!
Very good content brother. Keep uploading 👍
Thank you! I will.
Now I am going to become citizen of Japan
That's nice!
How much does time n price it take to come from Tokyo to Kushiro station?
Thank you for asking.

how do you record video outside view of train when you are inside?, drone?
My guess is probably B-roll.
Actually, the video from outside was shot the day before. See the difference in the amount of clouds?
@@transitjourney right😄

one day i would like to just settle in japan, where i can look anywhere and won't see any garbage that'll ruin my day.
Garbage pickup is popular in Japan. Maybe it is a spirit of hospitality to make people feel comfortable.
I hope your wishes come true!
