Good job on letting the cat out of the bag. You've just created another Bad Monkey just like JHS Pedals did.. wait a sec... his name was Josh as well. Is this some global Josh conspiracy to give us GAS?
I own a CT-410V, basically the full size version of the MT-68 but with an analog filter. The CT-400V is the trifecta with them (also has the analog filter but with mini keys and ... honestly it's too pretty for a Casio.)
The Minilogue XD is half the synth of a Prologue 8 and is twice as useless in the jungle….its a quarter of the synth of a Prologue 16 and is four times as useless…..MT 68 for the win!
Objectively the Casio MT-68 makes you live longer. My father had one and he made it to 97. Unfortunately I couldn't play the MT-68 at his funeral because of COVID restrictions (the MT-68 was allowed to attend but I wasn't). I'm travelling back home to Scotland this month to try and wrestle the old MT-68 away from my brother. My trump card is that he's oblivious to how amazing it is. I'll tell him it's shit, or broken, or broken shit, and I'll get to keep it. 🙂
I had a Casio mt68 in 1986, it does not use samples. I had the same sounds as all of the mt models with the exception of the 2 modifiers. Also please be aware that the samba rhythm runs the battery's out quicker.
I am worth it 🥺 Another synth that i can think of is a mycosynth, which 1) is basically a liar, since it isn't even a synthesizer 2) is an invasice species 3) turns flesh into metal (i like being non-metalic) and thus is obviously inferior to the Casio MT-68
The Casio MT-68 actually only has 8 voices of polyphony, my mistake. This doesn't change the jungle scenario.
That's still more than the Polybrute (for now)
8 was good enough for the Yamaha CS-80, so it's just fine for the MT-68
The arpeggios on the MT68 is legendary
Truly. Objectively the best arpeggios.
Kyle Staka from The Growlers used the MT-68 in studio and on tour to help create their signature sound.
cold corporate default patches in the korg prologue 🤣🤣
The default Korg Prologue patches are why I need a therapist.
Marvelous content. Cheers to you my good sir

The show by Josh - Good Gear!
This guy gives me vibes of Dwight from the office
This is objectively the best video I’ve ever seen, and I did not waste four hundred and three seconds of my life watching it.
Nice work, Josh!
Just doing my part for the TH-cam synth landscape.

great video!
I have just realised what the date is.
It would be great to see how great it is. Some says that it can be used only for lo-fi electronic with additional modern effects and synths.
You're NOT Josh. You are just Luisito Comunica
I've been found out.
Buying one now!
Objective facts is the best kind of facts.
Objectively.
PSS-470 >
See, too much synth does something to the brain. Good or Bad? Frozen peas - good or bad? We can never find teh ultimate answer.
Since I won one I obviously agree.
Convinced me, will throw out all other gear now.
Forever missed mine after it broke
Ah, April's fool
Please can we have a demo 🙏

Can't argue with that math.
You didn’t mentions the MT-68’s good looks.
They're so self-evident that I felt no words could properly express them.
with a video title like that , who could disagree ? 😂
It's objectively agreeable.
Cmon man
If it dont have a calculator its not aa Casio.
Using the number printed on it, the MT-68 has a calculator as long as the answer to the question is 68.
@@JoshIsMakingMusic Ohhh
Its good, but its not a MT-400v. FACT.
Yes, the MT-68 smaller and therefore more portable and therefore better.
@@RegebroRepairs That would make the VL-1 the greatest ever!
@@robertgillespie9839 No, the casio musical watch! 😃
69th viewer noice.
Almost as nice as the Casio MT-68.
i just wasted 4:03 sec of my life
Proud owner of the Casio MT-68 right here

I enjoyed this way more than I should've. Lol.

Mycosynth more like LIEcosynth
WOW! What an incredible fantasy......to think I could actually afford to go on a vacation!???😜
א איד איז א איד.... אידישע קאפ
Wow we got a real Ben Shapiro ova here
I traded my Yamaha CS-80 for a Casio MT-68 on Apri, 1st... And guess what, never looked back!
I traded my CS-80 (reface) for Thai massage
@@raul0ca 😝
but what about mt640...
That's too high of a number, 68 is perfect.
What if objectively, i had a mt65?
Objectively the second best synthesiser (it's close).
I think there may be some solid critiques of objectivity, but I can't think of them right now because of the headache this video gave me.
