So over the years I a got this whole bunch that I'm gonna share with everyone on here. It's one of the only RE titles I never beat.
There was a storage crate just before the final boss, and then a typewriter. I dumped most of my stuff in storage, as I always do before exploring the next area and moved to the next room. Then I save, overwriting my file, which I do all the time. Then the final boss pops up and here I am with a dozen shotgun shells and not much else.
Come to find out that after I die, I can load at the typewriter, but the area with all my ammo and gear is no longer accessible. I tried to beat the boss about a million times, until I finally realized that even if I got off every shot perfectly I couldn't kill him. Didn't want to play the whole game though again, so I rage quit and broke the disk in two.
Other than that, it was a great game. lol
+Dave Kane dude the same exact thing happened to me i thought i glitched or something because i thought it was so cheap. such a bummer i was hype to finally beat it. :/ i played the dreamcast version, so now i have a reason to play code veronica x but still a bummer.

I also had the Dreamcast version. Maybe I should go back and beat it. It's one of the only RE titles I can't honestly say I've beaten.

Why I love alphas collection the most. Talks about experiences with the games, the collectors editions, and why it’s so cool to have it. And I haven’t seen another collector that gives suggestions on what to play. Unlike most collectors you see who don’t talk and just point the camera at their collection. Alpha right here is a true gamer at heart!

The Gamecube is such an underrated console. I played every Resident Evil I could get my hand on. It was a great introduction to the series! And RE Revelations is awesome!

Lovely collection bro i like the 15th anniversary boxset might pick that up, know whats great about the wii archive versions of remake and zero, you can play them on a wii u and capture those games looking sweet, which i just done.
That's true but they won't be running in hi definition unfortunately since it still has to run through the Wii menu. luckily the upcoming HD versions are looking amazing, even more so than the roms on the Dolphin emulator with everything maxed out
AlphaOmegaSin It's not HD yeah but it still looks great and if people want to play them looking pretty good before 2015 i would say pick these versions up. Noticed you were missing Resident Evil Survivor 2, its an ass game but looks like they didn't even release it in America only JP and EU, the box art of that game makes Code Veronica X Pal version make a little more sense which is cool.

I have a mixed reaction to it.
It would've been good if capcom made it themselves. All the dlc already being on the game, with better controls, and well balanced difficulty, and no what if endings that let you kill Leon and Claire
Resident Evil 4 was great, in my opinion. 1,2,3 will always be the best. Resident Evil 5 made me laugh and somewhat scared at the same time. Not scared scared, just unexpected, what's gonna happen scared.
Also, 1.5 and 3.5 will never be owned by a collector because physical copies don't exist, sadly. Q.Q
Played resident evil 2 on the vita and loved it. Probably never would have been able too beat it without your walkthrough so thanks.

Oh I do have it, forgot about it entirely since it's in a box cause it's my only Game.com game I own. I did play it years and years back and it's hands down the worst thing ever in the Resident Evil series XD

Great collection Alpha, I have to disagree on RE Revelations. I thought it was ok, the monsters were creepy, but gameplay was not as freaky as I thought and the worst part was the story. The story was just confusing. I had to force myself to finish the game.
Why....would gameplay need to be freaky? Also how does gameplay become freaky? 0_o
AlphaOmegaSin I didn't find the atmosphere was not creepy like other RE games, the gameplay was more like the original which I agree with, but over the game was meh. I just couldn't get past the story. It killed it for me, personally.

I've got to chime in that I started playing Revelations and well... So far I can't agree with it being 'good' for one reason. I'm sick of jumping around. The game starts off really nice on an abandoned ship, but then jumps to a beach to show what Jill was doing before the game. Then we Jump back to the boat, then to what Chris is doing, then the boat, then to what Jill's partner was doing before the game.
It's making it really difficult to become immersed in the gameplay and world when you keeping throwing me into a new environment every fifteen minutes...
Videomaster21XX I've been a resident evil fan since the PSone days, but this Revelations game isn't as good as I expected it. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one disappointed with RE Revelations, mainly the issues I had was the story.
lpfan091989 Well Jury is still out for me, as I haven't finished the game, but after about five hours of messing with it, so far I'm a bit disappointed. Then again, Alpha would probably hate me since by far the best of the later REs I've played was 5. Then again that's mainly because I spent the entire game playing co-op with my brother. It's to date the only 360 game I've actively gone and tried to get every achievement for. (I'm only missing the vs stuff now, not sure I want those however)

I love how passionate you are about survival horror in your videos, I love resident evil, my favourite is 4, not just in the genre or series but just overall out of any game, coming up close is silent hill 2 and I know they soud like the fan boy choices of both series but I just really love them and have a lot of nostalgia and great memories linked to those games, I've completed resi 4 on all consoles hundreds of times Aswell as owning the limited edition resident evil 4 silver gamecube, I would like to get back into the older games though, resi 2 I really want to play and hear so many great things about ! The only other one I've completed is the resident evil remake on gamecube which I think is sooo so fucking awesome \m/ I love watching you talk about the franchise and it makes me want to play them all !

Awesome Vid! Over the years I've sold-off many of my games to gamestop and stores like them, but I always made sure to keep all of my RE games. I never got around to playing/owning many of the "side story" games, I mainly stuck to the canon games.

I still fondly remember my friend completing RE2 on nightmare without dying. He is the definition of extreme! He also completed the original release of RE4 on the GameCube on hard without a single death. He must've clocked up a good 20+ hours during that campaign.

Dude I jus recently started getting on youtube and you are my favorite person to watch by far, we share alot of the same opinions, jus nice 2 know there's people out there that want what I want in gaming like the bio - hazard franchise. I hope capcom does somethimg to right the ship fast
Awesome video alpha, And i want to share a story that happened to me when i was little with 2 of the games, so when i was 3 years old my grandma had the amazing idea of buying me the gamecube my first console and if I quite remember well a year or two after, my grandpa had an another amazing idea on buying me RE Zero and RE Remake, ofc I was just a little kid and usually the games that i played back then were monkeyball, mario party and such, so I was so excited on getting these 2 games, even though i didnt know what were they about but just the idea of getting 2 games rated M, made me feel like a grown up kid, but all that excitement went downhill and turned into fear of playing them, heck! i did not even touch RE remake after playing a little bit of RE Zero, i was so scared i had nightmares for days, so I decided to change them for other 2 games. But as I was getting older I and RE 4 came out, i was decided to conquer my fears and try it and it turned out to be my favorite game from that time, i was so happy.
Little time after i finished RE 4 i went to gamers to buy a game, and so i went to the For Sale box and i found the 2 first games that introduced me to the survival horror genre and my grandma knew that i was scared of those games before so it took me a few "pleases grandma, please" to convince her on buying them for me, and i could not be much happier right now for playing those because back then i did not use much internet but i started to search for other games because i was like "where is RE 1,2 and 3, so as you can figure i tried to get the ps console for the RE 1 just only for that game and i got the RE 2 and 3 for the gamecube. Good childhood memories.
