    Let me just tell you right up front, Tim, if I may. Please, please do NOT pay any attention to these commentors who post negative, ugly, and very rude comments. They are not adding to the conversation, but are detracting from it. I would suggest blocking, canceling, or just hide them and get them off of the video comment section because they are not helping anyone, and probably don`t want to anyway.

    I use a round file and one of those little jigs that has the two rollers and have never had anything but a super sharp chain. Don't need fancy stuff, if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

    • @ForestApps
      @ForestApps  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That’s what people said when they came out with that little jig with the two rollers.

      Bet ya use a water heater in your home. Probably drive an automobile too. Anyhow, use your roller sharpening system with this setup and you’ll be putting the best edge you ever put on a Chain.

    • @ForestApps
      @ForestApps  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I had mentioned in several comments. I guess you may not be able to see all the comments.
      I think it is smoother and faster than round ground and is very easy for anyone to sharpen with the HEXA file. I don’t think it is as smooth and fast as square filed however.

  • @chuckbailey6835
    @chuckbailey6835 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well that was a great explanation of the cutter geometry but I would like to know how you think it cuts compared to a square grind and a round
