Celine Dion sings both in English and french all her career, theirs no Celine fan who doesn't know this, so that means you know nothing about this woman.
@@cinziam457 her mother tongue is French, born in Quebec and one of her best album, D’eux, is in French. I wouldn’t say her music is virtually all in English. She’s done a lot in French…it’s just that you’re not aware of if.

As someone who has a neurological condition that I hid for a long time, I can relate to her pain. It’s so much better to give the gift of allowing those who love you to support you and give what they can. There is happiness in giving.

Those two things sound like they could not coexist in one person, but you can clearly see, in her, they do.

She's a traditional diva, when it referred to a famous female singer. I don't know when it was co-opted into meaning a difficult, temperamental singer, but every video I've seen of her shows she's just not that kind of person

Ya. Come on it MUST have taken something away from her. Let us be real. I think she just always wants to appear "tough" and "brave". It's a weird Aries trait I think. They think that showing vulnerability makes them weak but I don't agree with this stance.
So, she is dealing with this disease since her Taking Chances era?? It was 16 years ago. Despite all that she still gave her best performance and her Taking Chances tour are considered as one the most successful tour too. It's totally insane....
Some of her best performances on TH-cam are clips from Taking Chances tour. She was phenomenal; couldn’t ever tell she was going through that.
I was thinking her voice did change a bit during that time, but chalked it up to normal aging. She still sounded great, but things do change for us singers. I’m sorry she’s going through all of this.
I did went to the taking chances tour years ago. It was amazing.

True. Her voice and singing prowess are still inherently there but it's only a question of how many songs she can sing in one show because of her medical condition. Probably 2 songs maximum at the moment that's why they're working to rebuild the endurance aspect.
My family criticized us for paying so much to see her. It turned out to be her last show in the US. I'm so thankful to have seen her ❤

She is so talented and as an awesome artist she was not even recognized, that must have added more stress for her on top of every thing else she was already dealing with. I was flying out of Hawaii back in the mid 90's to report to duty in San Diego and I saw her signing autographs and taking pictures with employees at the security check point when people were allowed to go beyond. She got swarmed by fans and didnt stop her from signing autographs 🎉❤

Adele in particular doesn’t do it for the money. Otherwise she wouldn’t be taking 5 year breaks and performing in Vegas for 4,000 people a night (I know she’s making like $1M each show). Instead she would be on a world tour singing for 60,000 people every night and earning much more. What she is doing now is for her son and her family.
